Click This time it’s personal as Gordon Brown takes on doubters Shift of emphasis in Prime Minister’s fightback Gordon Brown comes out fighting for his leadership today and declares that his experience of personal adversity has made him the man to lead Britain through troubled economic times. Breaking his silence on the crisis that is menacing his political future, Mr Brown tells his Cabinet that he will confront the current problems in the way he has dealt with his own troubles in the past. So now we can see that Brown is publicly admitting that there is a crisis. Rather different from his previous statements that there was no crisis. T…

I've just spent 8 days in The French Alps with my in laws ...... 8 days seemed like 8 years ....... The Mother in law never pauses for breath, and the old fella seems to think that he knows everything about anything, and is obviously never wrong ....... smokes a pipe which i would dearly love to shove up his ass when blowing smoke in my babies face , and has an incontinence problem ( not great when wearing cream coloured shorts with a yellow brown patch around the crotch area ) and seems to think it's ok to sit out in the sun , let it dry off , and then go and prepare food ! Also he is an extermely nervous pasenger, who is himself an aggressive speedy driver, who sits the…

Hey guys. We've been set a task in College to find out what way the majority of people swing. I'd appreciate it if I were able to get 50 replies just saying whether you swing left or right or whether you're centre. I don't plan on gathering any other information and would be really grateful if you could all help me out here!!! All my findings will be put into a graph and be included in my research topic! Thankyou! Connor.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7602663.stm I know criminals try and say the insurance will cover what they nick, but it won't cover keepsakes like this. And just because you can claim on your insurance, doesn't mean there i9sn't a sense of violation and loss over having your possessions pawed over and taken. I hate thieves.

This is not a humours topic, but I'm a little gun shy of the other forums at the moment--maybe there have been too many mold spores released by the rain or something...people are just not well... Any how, I'm been going to grief counselling for a couple of weeks now and in my second session, the therapist pegged me as an INTJ and recommended a book for me to read that gives strategies for the different personalities types to help them strengthen in areas where they are weak. It's really been an eye-opener (and for a spidey that's saying something)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7603520.stm I wonder if the most of the 43 forces would end up with the same response from it's officers. The reply from Ian Shannon is just about what I would expect, how many less tickets, 10, 20, 500, 2500. Typical wishy washy answer I'm afraid.

"Gordon Ramsay is to shatter the last taboo of English cuisine by urging the public to eat horse meat. The controversial chef claims horse meat is tasty and nutritious and should be part of the British diet". I saw this on an 'F word' re run on tv last night. Has anybody actually given horse a go? It did look quite nice in fairness...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/2696009/Julie-Ward-murder-probe-obstructed-by-UK-police-says-report.html Lets hope they eventually get to the bottom of this case, no man should have to spend his own money investigating, or trying to get the authorities to. The FCO up to their tricks again, it wouldn't be natural for them to come out and admit they were involved in a cover up. John Yates will sort it out, even if it means upsetting HMG.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7446274.stm I really cannot believe that the Press and others have nothing better to do than complain about the use of the word, if someone takes offence at the word they must be pretty thin skinned. It's time the PC Brigade left the country, or found something more intelligent to get on with.
