Click David Miliband was subjected to an astonishing four-letter tirade from his Russian counterpart at the height of the Georgia crisis. The Foreign Secretary received the undiplomatic tongue-lashing over the telephone after expressing the EU's anger with the Kremlin, it was revealed yesterday. At one point Sergei Lavrov, the colourful Russian foreign minister, became so incensed that he reportedly barked: 'Who the f*** are you to lecture me?'.........

I'm a dad of a 10 month old baby girl and my god, I am knackered nearly all day very day. She has decided to walk at 9 months and walk very fast at 10, and I can't keep up. I finish from work at 5, by the time I pick her up from child care and get home, it's 6pm. I dont get a chance to sit down until pretty much when I get into bed to go to sleep, about 10ish (or when she decides I can). My wife works full time like me, and we have found looking after a baby the hardest thing we have ever done. She's teething again at the moment and giving her trouble sleeping etc, so not getting much rest at night either. We talked about having two kids, but I have no idea how pare…

The delight known as a Wii arrived at our house on Saturday & I am shocked at just how much fun it is! There's been talk of getting one since Christmas & I wasn't bothered if we got one or not. I am not into Playstation, XBox or anything like that so considered the Wii to be a souped up version of those. How wrong I was. I am now a Pro on tennis & have been happily whacking virtual tennis balls whilst playing doubles. Anna Kournikova, eat your heart out! If you're in two minds about getting one, get it. Ir's fab fun

http://www.odmp.org/year.php?year=2008 It is very sad that these officers died in the course of their duties, and very sad for the families and friends. Almost 50% of the deaths involving vehicles appear to be single vehicle accidents where they left the road and rolled, or struck an object off the carriageway. Several were ejected from their vehicles. Does this indicate a failing in the driving standards in the US as against the uk, or just pure bad luck. I appreciate that there are many more officers in the US than the UK, but pro rata, it seems a very high death rate compared with the UK.

How do you tell the difference between a British Police Officer , an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer? Answer: You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying a Glock 9mm, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do? UK POLICE OFFICERS Answer : Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that woul…

The son of a couple who have been close friends of my parents for many years is gay. Mickey, as he's called, is not discreetly gay, but what, in less politically correct times, would have been called a "screaming queen" or something such. He dresses very ostentatiously, wears make-up and masses of jewellery and has highly 'affected' speech and mannerisms. Aside from all that, he has long been involved with gay rights groups and so on and has had a number of same-sex partners (one of whom was violent towards him and was locked up by some of my offiocers when I was in the job). His parents suspected his sexuality from his early teens and he never made any attempt to con…
