http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1068766/Blunkett-set-return-Cabinet-Mandy-wrecks-Milibands-leadership-bid.html this doesn't say much for the integrity of Gollum Brown inviting two untrustworthy men into the Cabinet. Both men were asked to resign(sacked)for 'fiddles', not just once, but twice. I suppose most of those in parliament are crooked so I don't suppose two more will make much difference.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lancashire/7656207.stm it really is time that we went back to the time when if a criminal made a frivilous appeal he stood a good chance of having several years added to his prison term. Mr Justice Cassells was well known for increasing the sentence if he thought it was appealing for the sake of it. Very few criminal appeals occurred during the 60's and 70's. It seems today that nearly everyone appeals and very few result in a lower sentence or a retrial.

A US company has performed a great service to humanity by inventing an underwear fabric that absorbs all smells. The material is inserted into a pair of pants with two self-adhesive strips and traps any pongs or whiffs, reports The Sun. The 'gas neutralisers' are made from carbon fabric that has undergone activated carbon anti-microbial treatment. Called Subtle Butt, they sell in five-packs for about £5. They were invented by a company called Garment Guard which already sells disposable cotton underarm inserts which absorb perspiration to prevent embarrassing wet marks. The company blurb says: "From the brilliant minds at Garment Guard comes our newest product, Subtl…

It seems there is another epidemic starting amongst cattle in this country. It's called Blue Tongue. Hey ho! If it's not one thing it's another. I'm wondering if the large scale epidemic amongst politicians of Brown Tongue will lead to any degree of culling.... Nah! We'd never be that lucky! Graham2007-09-24 06:10:28

I have my a/c date next Friday. To get there in plenty of time for 8am means I will have to get a train at 5.45 so I can allow for disruptions etc - probably too much time bu hey better early than late (or won't get in). Just a thought. Anyone know of any cheap but half decent accommodation near by? Travel lodge or something similar would be good. Thanks

Looks like OJ will spend the rest of his life behind bars, found guilty on 12 counts of Robbery and Kidnap also using a deadly weapon. According to the News many Americans are pleased that at long last he's been nailed, many think that he was guilty of killing his wife 13 years ago Having watched some of his farcical trial I think they are right he did do it, the American judicial process IMHO is a 3 ringed circus but for serious crimes when a guilty verdict is brought in they certainly bang them away for years and years. He had everything he threw it all away

Click Chichester council staff were unable to clear a dustbin from a stream four inches deep because they lacked the necessary training. David Barnard, vice-chair of South Harting parish council, said: "I spoke to someone from the department dealing with fly tipping and he told me: "We don't have anyone qualified to wear wellington boots."."
