... a supplier closer to home. For ages I've meant to pop in and see what these people do, every time I pass the sign pointing down the road. But I'm always too busy, and my freezer's always full. But they put a leaflet through the door today, telling me they will deliver. Sounds good to me. And much nicer to support local produce. Drool.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraphtv/314...ey-waiters.html I find this offensive on several levels. My main problem with this is, i am into conservation, and do like seeing wildlife being used in this way. The fact that we use HATO, i can do nothing about, but this is to far. :smiley_notworthy: :smiley_notworthy: :clapping: :clapping:

Funny as...i am sure Kirkie will find this one funny too!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...nd-dialect.html """A hotel in Hull has given its guests a tongue-in-cheek guide to help them understand the distinctive local dialect. The Holiday Inn Express has added an English-to-Hull translation document to their welcome pack to help visitors understand the local tongue. Translations for key words, such as "skeg" (to look), "ballung" (crying) "myrrh-bile" (mobile phone) and "summatup?" (is something troubling you) have all been included. The guide has provoked an angry response from some members of the local community, who consider it "insulting". Marilyn…

The Ginevra de' Benci by Leonardo is my favorite painting. It's not very large, painted in oil, and is interesting in that both sides are painted. It's the only Leonardo in the Americas and I have spent many hours in the years since it arrived lost in its beauty.

... altered by Man. The oldest (?) know Bible. found in 1844, has been in 4 pieces since it's discovery. It's being digitised and stitched back together. For those who believe because it's says so in the Bible so it must be true, reading this may come as a shock, because it's not the same as our Authorised version used today. Not by a long chalk. Like any other propaganda tool, the Modern Bible has been changed. Sometimes buy accident with transcriptional errors. Sometimes because of political expedience of the day. Oh dear. It's a bit of a shock to find that the Bible is as reliable as a BBC report.

Hunting season is in full swing here and the stocks are non existent and suppliers won't be taking new orders until January for delivery in spring and of course, I need to ship these by the end of the month. Any leads to hunting suppliers in the UK who might carry this equipment will be greatly appreciated. Croby
