Hi all, Im new to this forum but would be very grateful if anybody could give me some advice, apologies in advance for the long post. I went to view a 53 plate Focus on Sunday 7th June after seing it on Autotrader, when I called regarding it the seller informed me that the price was not £2000 as stated on the ad but was actually £1700 and he would also take my nackered T reg Xsara in p/x. Went off to see the car, quite excited mainly due to the price, viewed the car and all seemed fine apart from it was in need of a good clean out and had some light scratches/dent to the bodywork, it has 3 months MOT and the seller had both the V5c and the MOT certificate so we decid…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1193167/Fury-Brown-reveals-Iraq-war-inquiry-held-secret--wont-finished-election.html So much for Gollums open government. Held in secret, evidence not to be given on oath, nobody can be made to give evidence, and no blame will be attached to anyone, and nobody will be prosecuted, and it will not be completed until after the next election. How did we guess. Fetch the whitewash, ready for another Franks and Hutton enquiry.

This isn't strictly the right forum for this post, * but seeing as it is one of the most viewed areas, it is probably going to attract the most viewers. Without going into too much detail, a member of the forum has complained to the Oracle about a post. Nothing wrong with that - but it would have perhaps been sorted quicker if it had been reported to a Moderator. The Oracle does keep an eye on things, but leaves it mainly to the Mods to sort out minor problems. If any of you have an objection to a post, then please let us know by using the "REPORT" button situated at the top of each post. Using this button will bring the post to the attention of one of the Moderators. …

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/8104802.stm I just hope this case doesn't come up before that , pompous clown, Justice Eady, or those two will end up with thousands in compensation. I might have guessed Liberty would be behind it all.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11...t-internet.html £6 'broadband tax' on every home in Britain to fund national rollout of superfast internet I wanted to change from Virgin media to BT a short while back, but BT wanted just over £100.00 to install a new phone line. Question is, why are we paying for others to get broadband installed? BT are installing their technology all over the world, i doubt they ask people to pay up front before installing the outside wiring in any other country.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1193644/Top-judge-warns-threat-justice-ex-soldier-gagged-fight-grandson.html After all the criticisms of some Judges in the past, we seem to have found one with some common sense. Many people have said for a long time that most family courts are run by the Stazi Social Workers, on flimsy evidence, given in secret, before incompetent Judges, who always side with the Social Workers.

Ok, over the last few years ive had some bad luck with family pets. 2 of my cats got tumors which required alot of money spending on operations and both eventually passed away....probably costing me to a tune of nearly £1000 spread over 3 years. 1 other cat had a stroke and after lengthy treatment had to be put down. That was it....no more cats!! Now today this happens....the family Rabbit who isnt that old had an accident a year ago and lost sight in one of his eyes. After some minor treatement the eye was left in. Anyway last week it got infected and he was on Antibiotics whilst waiting an op....... today the eye ruptured. The wife rushes him to the vets (once clos…

I'm trying to trace an ex colleague called Simon Wilkinson, who I believe was last working as a CID officer in Bradford for WYP. I moved out of the area and lost contact with Simon some years ago and would be grateful if anyone could help. Carol.
