http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Showbiz-N...Among_Big_Names I cannot see any names on the list that i would go there for. Where is Mike Oldfield, Susan Boyle, Cliff Richard, Sasha? Isn`t this a cheap imitation of Woodstock?

So...time for a rant, new member so apologies in advance but hey. They've made the new motorcycle test harder for new riders... You know, cause us motorcyclists keep dying and all that. But instead of making our lives more miserable why not perhaps consider educating car drivers? I drive and i ride, and in no uncertain terms people who only drive cars are generally (and i know some people are decent, but the minority) absolute idiots and are, statistically, responsible for more motorcycle deaths than the bikers themselves. I am only ranting as someone decided to pull out of a side road in front of me today...i was only doing 60mph and i only missed his car because i ha…

The government issued the draught of a speech the Health Minister and/or Gollum is expected to make today. They are 'bragging' that the NHS's budget has a £1.7 billion surplus. They're due to announce that this is through "good management" & "getting it right first time." This is interesting in an underfunded & underresourced NHS, still reeling from the effects of MRSA & the like, & not having enough equipment, trained staff & drugs to deal with what problems they already have. I'm sure we may look forward to swingeing budget cuts next year! Graham2009-05-22 08:44:58

"Dear Mr. Darling, Please find below my suggestion for fixing Britain 's economy. Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following idea. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan": There are about 20 million peop le over 50 in the work force. Pay them £1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations: 1) They MUST retire. Twenty million job openings - Unemployment fixed 2) They MUST buy a new British car. Twenty million cars ordered - Auto industry fixed 3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing crisis fixed …

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...or-bad-leg.html BALDING bodypopper Fred Bowers was being probed for benefit fraud last night — as it emerged the Britain’s Got Talent sensation is coining it in disability handouts. I cannot believe anyone could be that stupid, he must be innocent!! Mind you, after watching that performance, the lack of talent he has, could be down to a disability .
