Only 6 hours to go before the greatest contest on earth begins. Should Flintoff be playing following his lack of nationalistic passion? Is missing out Harmison a fatal error on the part of the selectors for the first test? How will the Aussies cope without the likes of Warne, Langer, Hayden and Mcgrath? Will Brett Lee be fit enough to take up the mantle of McGrath? edited to add...Im looking forward to Shane Warne's comentary on Sky Sports

This was the day I got the most welcome phonecall of my life. Mr M was working in London that day, and minispawn was due there on a school trip. The trip was cancelled, and minispawn was beside herself worrying about her Dad. He eventually got through to me and I phoned both her school and Spawn's school to ask them to tell the kids their Dad was alive. Spawn's school wouldn't tell Spawn unless she showed signs of worry, because they were not particularly aware of what had been happening, and it wasn't fair to worry others whose family members had not been able to get a message out. I feared Mr M might have to stay in London overnight, and I feared further attacks.…

Reports in the 'Daily Hate' (Daily Mail) today. A real cause for concern, or just our wonderful Liar-Boring old Gubbermunts shouting 'Wolf' once again to justify a further crackdown with more legislation or using some of the anti-terrorism legilsation to justify things? Maybe this is all a knee-jerk move by Lord Meddlesome to advise Pa Broone of a way of staying in office permanently by suborning Civil Liberties, Habeus Corpus, Parliament and all Elections by declaring a 'National Emergency' using the 'Civil Contingencies Act 2004' and all the recent additions to the anti-terrorism legislation. Nothing would really surprise me of any extreme stunts pull…

I am thinking of dumping Sky (cos I don't watch half the channels) and going over to a freesat box with recorder built in. This is about £292 from Comet, etc, but I will save by not paying Sky each month. Has anyone done this, and was it worth it for the channels that you do get? (I have already dumped Sky phone and broadband)

How true to real life policing are these kind of programmes? I can't help watching these programs with a cycnical point of view, they show all the action and the drama, but do they really show the full duties and scenarios that the Police face? I'm guessing not, but it would be nice to imagine that everyday policing is this fast and dramatic!

Having just finished 8 hours on foot oustide the night clubs of my sunny town i would juts like to say AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. We started the shift with custody half full with illegal immigrants and we headded out with directions to be robust. A breach of asbo, gbh, assault, assault police, burglary with runners, criminal damage, illegal selling of kebabs after closing, a million drunken idiots who know the law better than anyone but persist in breaking it while shouting that they never do, watching half a dozen people hurl their stomach contentse over the floor and then carry on clubbing, putting 2 people into the revoevery po…

Click Bankers who return to excessive ways will be 'brought back to earth', warns Alistair Darling........... That'll be interesting. Perhaps they could then tell Darling what it's like, as I'm not sure what planet he's on.

This is largely self explanatory. The 'regulatory' offences are under the Consumer Protection Against Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. I think it makes interesting reading. The judge's remarks should actually have a very significant effect upon the enforcement of these regulations. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11...es-prequel.html Many of us thought we had seen the last of Del Boy when Only Fools and Horses ended with a Christmas special in 2003. I believe the BBC got lucky with Only fools and horses, as in the follow up series Green green grass is crap, as are most BBC comedy. We can take a look at a few series the BBc has dumped in front of us, Are you being served? each week we were supposed to roll about the floor when someone mentioned the word Pussy, oh how we laughed. This list of crap goes on, THE ROYLE FAMILY, Bottom, etc. I have not watched an episode of Only fools in ages, in fact i am so tired of it get annoyed seeing it …
