While waiting for my daughter to leave school this afternoon, I got talking to an Englishwoman here who originally came from Barnsley, but has lived in Sweden for more than 30-years after marrying a Swede. She was collecting her granddaughter from the nearby "dagis", or pre-school day-care centre. When the child appeared, aged about 4-years, I was sure she was a boy. She had a cropped haircut, almost skinhead, was dressed in jeans, boots, a Power rangers t-shirt and navy blue anorak. I said that i thought she told me she was waiting fow her granddaughter and she confirmed that the child was a girl. She laughed and told me that, in many parts of Sweden, you can't alwa…

What on earth is this NuLabour shower coming to, it's Chief Law Officer, Baroness Scotland, employs an illegal immigrant, who has been her house-keeper for six months. She sacked the woman when she found out. She stated that she would never knowingly employ and illegal immigrant. Many a lorry driver has been fined huge sums when illegals were found in his waggon, even thought he didn't know they were there. Will we see the Baroness in court over this, I think NOT. One law for one, one law for government Ministers. Maverick222009-09-16 23:10:50

Mandelson says he can ..'Work with the Torys'.... Yes, my liege lord, Lord Peter Meddlesome must be hedging his bets. If he cannot even wait until after the Liar-bore Knees-up in Brighton before announcing this 'little gem', then why should the Boy Dave and the Conservatives, or anyone trust him?<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> My Lord must know something about Gollums and the Liar-bore hierarchy that may have changed his mind about getting his 'shoulder' full square behind McBroone this week. 'Rat leaving the sinking ships' is about right. McBroone is going to..... "argue at Labour’s annual confe…

On Thursday, my wife, youngest daughter and I travelled north to see a farmer about buying a very small tractor he had for sale. When I say "north", I mean to a place a mere 250 miles north of where we are, which is still classed as southern Sweden. This is one BIG country! After about four hours of driving through seemingly endless woodland, we arrived. The farmer in question shared the farm with his parents, who were licenced, specialist dog breeders. While waiting to view the tractor, a woman came in to return a puppy she had purchased less than a week previously. It was a 9-week old miniature schnauzer and unbelievably cute! The woman's complaint was that this …

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/6...ing-stress.html Women drivers are much more likely than men to suffer from "parking stress" that leaves them nervous at the wheel, according to new research. So here is a test for all folks. http://www.freeonlinegames.com/racing-game...iving-test.html Keep sound on, it is amusing. I failed, turns out i cannot turn right.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/8270351.stm Whatever the rights and wrongs of this case, at least the Judge had the integrity to resign, or fall on his sword, which is more than can be said of Baroness Scotland, and a few other members of NuLabour.

http://www.policeoracle.com/news/GMP-Investigate-Craig-Bellamy_20301.html I hope the fan makes a complaint against Bellamy, who is just a yob in a football shirt. The club say they will take no action against Bellamy,(typical of myopic Hughes) who they say, pushed the fans face away as he thought he might spit at him. The man was under the control of the stewards and Bellamy ran 20 yards to push him in the face. Bellamy has plenty of previous for yobbish behaviour. It's time to make an example of yobs like Bellamy.

Royal Mail is asking firms to pay £3,150 a year to ensure their post arrives in the morning. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12...l#ixzz0SDBeenCQ "A Royal Mail spokesman said: 'We are absolutely not putting any pressure on customers to pay for delivery of the mail and, of course, Royal Mail's standard six-days-a week delivery service remains free for customers at the UK's 28million addresses." Not in my area, no post in a week now, and i was expecting ink for my photo copier, due to problems mentioned in the chat thread. Sell off the Post office, find an American company that will run it properly.

Hello folks!! A lot has been said about boots, but I am looking to buy good quality, comfortable socks! When I was in the RAF, we were issued with 'desert' type socks which were thick and had a reinforced heel and toe area, and a sort of 'wicking' area in the arch. Fantastically comfortable, heavy duty but allowed air to the feet. They were great! I've tried to order replacements from Army/Navy stores, but it appears that the forces have changed their suppliers since I left, and the new ones aren't as good. What type of socks do YOU wear? How much, and where do you buy them from? Matt

Things never to say to a woman during an argument: Don't you have some laundry to do or something? Oh, you are so cute when you get all pissed off. You're just upset because your ass is beginning to spread. Wait a minute--I get it. What time of the month is it? You sure you don't want to consult the great Oprah on this one? Sorry. I was just picturing you naked. Whoa, time out. Football is on. Looks like someone had an extra bowl of bitch flakes this morning! Is there any way we can do this via e-mail? Who are you kidding? We both know that thing ain't loaded.Graham2009-06-09 17:28:14
