Did your parents ever tell you dubious facts when you were a kid, besides the Father Christmas thing. Here is one i was told. Mum bought me a pair of baggy shorts, i mentioned i needed swimming trunks, i was told at the time these are what the professional swimmers wear, i accepted her word, who would believe mum would not tell you the 100% truth?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1284116/Tories-ready-reopen-Dr-David-Kelly-suicide-inquiry.html Lets hope an enquiry does happen, and perhaps the truth will eventually come out. There would appear little doubt that Blair and NuLabour were behind his death, and that Hutton was lent on to produce the Whitewash of an enquiry. Maverick222010-06-05 06:52:01

The mile is making a comeback in official government papers. New Transport Secretary Philip Hammond was horrified to discover that the mile had been ditched - and the kilometre secretly adopted as its replacement - across his department. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1284560/End-road-Labours-kilometre-mile-makes-comeback.html#ixzz0qANlYI3A I cannot say i have ever seen this sign post. It looks old, and probably placed up on Kingsland high street, but where? Has this picture been created by The Daily mail?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1282195/John-Prescott-peer-Browns-resignation-honours.html Fat Lord John of Hull, says he is only taking it so Pauline can become a Lady. Sorry Jon Boy, you cannot turn Mutton into Lamb, and you cannot take Hull out of Pauline, she is a snob. If John Prescott is honest about not wanting the honour, he could do the decent thing and never go in the H of Lords. Labours Policeman getting in on the act, Lord Blair of Where.

So we have a item, of any kind, may it be alive or otherwise. The opposite of a knife one might think is fork, but it isn`t that would be true if we were talking spacialy opposite. The purpose of a knife is to cut something, so the opposite would be glue. Spoon on the other hand would be a Prime opposite, so the opposite would be a spoon. We are now looking for people to reply to the item given by the previous person, and to have a new item for the next person to find the opposite to. Please, also remember you must have your own reply, and give out your answer when you reply to the next Opposite. Now that i think i have explained this new game, i look for the opposit…

Hi all... First off, i know that you can download free speciman papers from the force websites, however i was recommended to use these and found them to be a great help. It had been a good few years since i had went through exams and these got me back in the swing of it. These are the Scottish Police papers and were brought from www.policepracticepapers.co.uk and cost £75. There are 6 books in total and a 'hints & tips' sheet. The books are in as new condition, have the answers in the back and set out exactly as you will find the exams. Looking for £55 delivered ono.... Drop a message on here, thro email if you like: mitchwell@uk2.net Cheers

THE Gurkhas' heroism in battle and loyalty to their friends, colleagues and regiments is legendary. These sound like the perfect description of what you'd need from a friendly neighbourhood policeman, but surprisingly few Gurkhas join the force. In fact, there's just one. SANTOSH Ghale has worn a uniform since 1981. For more than two decades, he served the 2nd Royal Gurkha Rifles in some of the most dangerous places in the world. http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/ashford/Gurkha-dons-new-uniform/article-2257898-detail/article.html

I'm after some advice on a decent Sat Nav. I'm liking the TomTom XL Widescreen UK & ROI, which is £140.00 from Halfords or I can buy it new from Amazon for £114.00. Anyone have any other recommendations? So far TomTom's seem like the "must have" in regards to Sat Nav... I just need something decent that will stop me from getting lost. I ended up going down a 1-way road the wrong way last night because I didn't know the area whatsoever, thankfully a Taxi flashed me so I could reverse back. Hey, I did look for signs before turning. Thanks!
