http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8902140/Saif-Gaddafi-must-face-justice-for-role-in-barbaric-reign-of-terror-in-Libya-David-Cameron-says.html Good news, they have caught the bastard. Let the Libyans try him, he is likely to get the death penalty there. If it goes to the Hague they will 'pussy-foot' around for years, and he will end up in prison costing thousands to keep him. I just hope he 'spills a few beans' on Teflon, Mandy and Air Miles Andy(that wasn't meant to rhyme) before he is put down.

Yesterday (27th November), a Charity single was released. While I wouldn't normally even entertain promoting such a thing, this one is slightly different, and is something very dear to my heart. Some of you will know why. The single is "Wootton Bassett Rocks" and is a cover of "Green Day's - Wake me up, when September ends" It features around 1,500 people from Royal Wootton Bassett who've given their time and services for free, and marks just the latest in a long line of things that the town have done. The money raised is for the benefit of 4 service charities: The Royal British Legion, Combat Stress, The Undentable Trust and SSAFA Forces Help. Youtube Video... …

I see more public funds are being wasted to produce a miniature and to preen the feathers of an objectionable "man".

A mate has just sent me a text asking for Secret Santa ideas for a colleague who is about to start training as a special with [an unspecified force]. (Thanks to GKWN). I just can't think of anything that he might 'get' before he actually starts duties. I would have suggested a packet of pens but I don't think he'll get it. Any ideas?

Fellow female specials, if you're looking for the ideal Christmas stocking filler or gift for husbands, partners, brothers, etc, I can't recommend highly enough "Police, Crime & 999" by John Donoghue (a serving officer). It's absolutely hilarious!!! So so funny. I couldn't put it down. Male coppers or indeed anyone with a sense of humour will love this! A 'mantastic' prezzie....

The first well known problem: Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors: Behind one door is a car; behind the others, goats. You pick a door, say No. 1 [but the door is not opened], and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say No. 3, which has a goat. He then says to you, "Do you want to pick door No. 2?" Is it to your advantage to switch your choice? The second not so well known problem: You meet a man on the street and he says, “I have two children and one is a son born on a Tuesday.†What is the probability that the other child is also a son?

This is a rather bizarre competition http://escapethemap.com/ If you put your mobile in you'll get a phone call or voicemail which finishes the story.

Well done to all the entrants for their quality work as usual. Now it is time to vote for your favourite. The topic this month, as picked by Merlin820, was "CURRENTLY SEASONAL". Also, there were a couple of entrants who submitted two entries and didn't make it clear which one was going to be their final choice. In those cases I have added the first photo. 1 - Bournemouth Promenade sunset by DaveTheRave999, on Flickr 2 - P1000818 by Ben Kovler, on Flickr 3 - Autumn by GaryDWilliams, on Flickr 4 - Autumnal Colours by fbizinc, on Flickr 5 - On a misty morning by danhurstuk, on Flickr 6 - millennium boat by Myky Graham, on Flickr 7 - Hyde …

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-15911321 So sad a young bloke in his prime, who was doing some serious good with the Welsh squad, should end his life in this way. Condolences to his wife and family.

OK, much mention lately of one of my heroes - Lady Thatcher. Much talk about her from people who have heard the legend but were not even born then let alone had the privilege to vote for her or the opposition (whoever the opposition was? lol) There is a film out next January titled "The Iron Lady" which will have a 12A certificate because it is apparently not suitable for miners. This is the definitive thread for discussion of Lady Thatcher, I have started this here in the locker room to save the Mods time in moving the thread when it all descends into chaos.

I don't know if anyone has heard of the parody Film Italian Spiderman before but the people who created it have just started distributing a new webisode film called Danger 5 and it is hilarious! Thought a few of you lot on here might be into it! The films are parody's of Superhero films set in the 60s and play on the diversity angle at the time so try not to take any offence, its all done in good humour. If you do take offence easily then on your head be it This is the trailer for Italian Spiderman The Trailer for Danger 5 is here: I've just finished watching Episode 2 and I'm actually hysterical!

So G.G. is now able to travel outside the UK so long as he gives notice of his intentions. That's OK as long as they castrate him first, but I doubt that that will happen unfortunately.
