Week 1: In this week of remembrance it is incredibly sad that another of our colleagues, DC Cashman died on duty this week whilst chasing a suspect in North London. It is a stark reminder that Police Officers do their duty in the knowledge that they may have to pay the ultimate sacrifice. I am therefore very pleased to tell you that this week a 19 year old man, Brian Mudziwepasi was found guilty of intentionally firing a gun at 3 of my officers with intent to endanger their lives and has been jailed for 11 years. This was one of the first major incidents that I had to deal with when I joined the Borough. Sgt Dean Croft and Pc's Jonathan Case & Jonathan Grabauskas …

Anyone care to share what the snow is like in their area? I hope nobody has too many problems finding their patrol car today Post your photos here

My car's currently in the garage, and the bus is cancelled, so instead of going to work I'll mainly be spending today taking photos of my dogs in the snow  Rolo sticking his nose in fresh snow: Fudge isn't quite sure what snow is:

I once wrote to my MP to support the campaign to get their use legalized on land by walkers and climbers and amazingly the zac attack wrote back saying he'd speak to the relevent minister. I stopped hiking alone in the hills when I left the TA so never followed it up although I did use to do all the responsible things like leave a map in the car, notified local cop shop, told the missus when to expect me to be able to call in etc. Transpires it's now le…

A lorry driver goes on a date with a girl, afterwards they go back to her parents place, and just beginning to make love on the couch when he feels the cold steel of a gun barrel on his neck.. Before he could turn around her father said "if you are a real lorry driver you'll be able to back out of there with a full load!!"
