Looking to sell your used equipment or other unwanted items? Our "For Sale & Trade" section is the perfect place to connect with fellow members interested in buying what you no longer need. Whether it’s tools, electronics, or hobby gear, feel free to list it here! Just make sure to include an actual photo of the item in your post – no stock images or generic photos from websites allowed. This way, everyone knows exactly what they’re getting. Happy selling and trading!

Folks, serous point please. it's been noticed that there has been a surge of completely unnecessary profanity, disguised or otherwise. I know that professionalism is a dirty word these days, but not on PS.Com. You're not on a night out with your mates. Please desist in its use, disguised or otherwise. It's not big and it's not clever; we are all capable of expressing ourselves without having to resort to profanity where there really is no need. Thank you.

Over the last 24 hours or so,it has been reported that the lights are likely to go out in the uk by 2015 due to power running out. Leading to HMG looking at alternatives now. Why leave it to the last minute to get things sorted. Surely by now they realise that crisis management is not the way to go. They will probably do the same with the fuel situation as well, someone should get their act together and very soon or we will all be up the creek without a paddle. (or to put it another way, we will be in s**t street).

Thought it would be nice to see members inspirational/favourite quotes/quotes you live by - as I think they are helpful to people especially when they're down or need guidance I like... "Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up"

Bought one off my boss yesterday for the thrill of the hunt and to make my fortune. First 10 minutes in the front garden I've dug up a 1987 1p and a 1980 1p. It's nearly paid for itself!!! I'll be off down the beach as soon as I can but going to dig up the girlfriend's family farm first. Saxon ship burials here I come! Anyone else partake in a spot of treasure seeking?

I've only just realised but the 2nd of July marked 10 years of me being a member here. Hooray!! If you're going to get me a present, may I suggest either a life or a girlfriend as apparently they're the two things I really need!

Without shamelessly plugging anything can anyone recommend any enjoyable books on the UK police? Perhaps a top 3? I've just finished Terror Cops by Harry Keeble; was a very enjoyable/ interesting read. I also recommend for anyone who can find a copy, Cloak Without Dagger by Sir Percy Silitoe, Follows the life and career of Sir Silitoe from Rhodesian Colonial Police Officer to Chief Constable of Sheffield right through to Director of MI6! Very interesting to see how many police tactics of the 1940s are still in use today! If this thread has already been done, feel free to close!

Well done Cuffbertt - showing a stunning (do I use this word too much?) use of light again with an image of sunset at Watchet fitting the theme "The End" Well done Cuffbertt. A shiny Mods award coming your way shortly and a new competition thread starting in a bit.

Near where i used to live, there's a curry house which does a standard portion chicken tikka masala, plain rice and plain naan (obvs other options are available). All for the grand sum of £4 UK pounds. And it's not bad quality or portion size either. Collection only Mon - Thurs though, and i now live around 8 miles away. So what's the best value takeaway you've had?

Just a quick thank you to our members for their support in the recent spamming campaign that seems to be affecting our site. We are working in the background with our administrators to deal with this issue. It is much appreciated that our members are taking ownership of the forums and reporting such posts and we would ask, should you see any such posts in the future, that you continue to 'report' them, as you are doing, to ensure that the moderation staff are made aware. Whilst we always try to make posts like these disappear before they are spotted by the membership at large, unfortunately we cannot always be here. Your efforts are not going unnoticed. Thanks aga…
