The Locker Room

Anyone used a psychic or had any psychic experiences?

HIIIIIIIIII!

Its nice to see Richard Hamster Hammond back on our screens as I thought I never would on reading about the rocketcar crash last year. Watching the video and seeing the tyre going and suddenly he is on his roof at over 200mph, he was lucky that the vehicle was so well built and that they had taken such safety precautions. Talking about the content - I would still take the DB9 over its sister. Jamie Oliver had a cracking drive on the course. Why cant our roads be fixed as quickly as that, I understand it cost more but the road was open in 24hrs! Cant wait for the next program as for all of you who watched Big Brother instead…

I thought when this Labour Government came to power it was on the back of being 'ethical'. The MOD had been known to lie frequently, i.e about Dr David Kelly, and war in Iraq. They have now been show to have stooped even lower by lying to the wife of the L/CoH Hull, who was killed by friendly fire. They assured Mrs Hull that no such video of the shooting existed, but one has been in existence since the day of the shooting. They also have not made much effort to produce it to the Coroner, or get the US to allow it to be shown. It's taken the Sun newspaper a matter of days to obtain a copy and show it on TV. The MOD has alot of questions to answer about numerous thi…

At the NHW meeting last night we were handed some cute little reporter style notepads promoting Neighbourhood Policing. I had one from last may when the NPT was launched. (It soon fell apart, bit like the NPT idea.) I've got a couple of rather nice pens also telling me how wonderful Neighboorhood Policing is. And last night I was taking notes with an Essex CJS Criminal Justice Board pen I picked up at the last Inside Justice day. I've been to two Inside Justice days. I was astonished at the number of freebies handed out. Astonished and slightly embarrassed, as if they really shouldn't have wasted public money on something that wasn't necessary. The forst…

She said the protests could damage the company globally with repercussions for the firm's remaining British workers. But Welsh Secretary Peter Hain, who she also criticised, said he did not take seriously "the opinions of a so-called celebrity columnist in London". He spoke after Charlotte Church became the latest celebrity opposing the closure of the 300-j…

"Try It" urges firms to bring in a ban on smoking in public places for an hour, a day, or even permanently. But while one Powys hotelier said a ban before the official date could be a "death knell," a Llanelli cafe said it had already been good for business. The launch coincides with Wales' first Six Nations game against Ireland, which introduced its own smoking ban in …

Officials, who said a further 100,000 birds would be killed, denied they had responded slowly to the outbreak. Sealed lorry loads of carcasses are being taken 200 miles to be destroyed.
