Has the HBO show True Detective made it over there yet? If so I'd urge you to see it. The final episode at the end of last week was so in demand HBO GO crashed. Also Banshee is another great series. Series 2 ends in one more episode but they have the go ahead for a third.

Its my day off, the weather is looking like its going to be nice, I've got new tyres on my bike so I'm making the most of it. Plan is get up at 0900, shower, haircut, shower again to get rid of the hair that always get down my back, then take the very long way to my friends on my bike. Only three shifts left until two weeks off work :D. Whats everyone up to today?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-26480334 I seriously dislike smoking, but I wish ASH do-gooders and councilors would recognise that kids smoke, it is an addiction, and to let a professional get on with her difficult job without their prissy and intolerant, and frankly naïve interference. I have the same feelings of disgust when do-gooders bang on about not allowing smoking in hospital grounds, not even in a designated area. An addicted smoker visiting a dying relative, or stressed out from looking after their sick child for hours, has to leave the site entirely to feed that legal addiction. It's Monday, and any reference to the Bangles is a good thing. It's also my Mum & Dad's wedding anniversary today - they've been married for 52 years, most of them reasonably happy!! :D

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10521393/Alex-Salmond-under-pressure-to-account-for-mystery-Ryder-Cup-spending.html - Salmond appears to be another MP who loves the 'high life' of expensive hotels and spending TAX PAYERS MONEY AS IF IT WAS GOING OUT OF FASHION. He was recently made to pay back £235 for a pair of trousers(were they made of gold)which he purchased to attend a private function that had nothing to do with his position as an MP.

I did try and find where the initial post was about this but to no avail. Series 2 of Police 24/7 following South Wales Police has started! http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03x3s87/Police_24_7_Series_2_Episode_1/ Spot the BTP officers during the in-stadium bits :D
