They said the animal was acting in a “very aggressive manner†after it escaped onto a busy road. A motorist spotted the cow on the A9 near Dunblane at around 8.30am this morning and raised the alarm. A group of people tried to capture the beast, which was being taken to an agricultural show. But it jumped the barrier of the A9 and made its way into a nearby garden where it was contained. The area was cordoned off and armed police and a vet went to the scene, but the animal could not be calmed down and had to be destroyed. Superintendent Davie Flynn said: “The animal was loose and was acting in a very aggressive manner. “There was a risk that a member of…

The girls mother appears to blame everyone else except herself, she needs to take a long look at herself and get her priorities in order.

I am sick and tired of hearing all about London's problems, London Mayor scandals, London crime etc on the news & in the papers. These stories have no relevance to anyone anywhere else in the country. The news channels, BBC in particular as so biased to reporting London's crap. Other cities and towns around the UK have news more worthy of a mention of some posh bloke becoming mayor of someone else city. The city I live in has stabbings, shootings nearly every day, are these any less important than a London crime or event? NO! Wise up London media snobs. Grumble over now

Sorry, i shouldn't make a joke of it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7480483.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/oxfordshire/7487650.stm "The sergeant who fired the shots is being held in custody. It is was thought he had held on to some live ammunition from a previous exercise in breach of regulations and mistakenly loaded them." Outrageous. Who's in charge of the munitions?M&MBM2008-07-03 18:29:10

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1032417/The-Olympic-spending-spree--Officials-claim-100-000-lavish-parties-meals.html No wonder the Olympics is over running it's budget when you have the likes of this lot feeding from the trough. That pompous Lord Coe is leading from the front as usual, why is there no check on their lavish spending. Tessa Jowell is the |Minister responsible, her department should be scrutinising the spending.

Have you seen these before? The person above you posts a pic of something, and you have to post something that would defeat it. For instance, I post an ice cube, you can post salt or fire or something like that. Then the next person has to beat whatever you posted (like water if it was fire). And so on and so forth. It's on. A member of the public at a Dog Show sees a dog in distress in the back of a car, he alerts the stewards, who attend tardilly (30 mins or so later). This was on quite a hot day, so real reason for concern. A passing MoP is so concerned that dispite security refusing to get involved, the MoP decides to break the rear 1/4 light and release the dog. The owner eventually returns and is not happy... My question is this, (forgetting law because we know about the defence of 'belief' etc) Would you arrest then NFA? Would you arrest and charge? Or would you not arrest and have severe words with said dog owner?

Hi guys, I know this should be on a different forum subject list, but you guys are the people I want answering me and you don't often frequent the other areas, I'm kinda hoping moderators will turn a blind eye...? I am doing interviewing at the college at the moment. We have done it in 2 stages...The first of which I have already done; it involved me gaining information from my suspect about a theft and possession of an offensive weapon. The way we've been told to form interviews are by Police Topic Planned Areas....Breaking things we wanna know down into small subjects.... Example.......Tell me everthing you did from getting up to when we arrested you. …
