This one is a bit of a old story, but it had 30 minutes on telly yesterday, and will get more exposure next week too. We, as in this country, welcomed in 88 beings, we have housed them, in a gated community, there housing is state of the art, and nothing is spared in order to keep them happy with life. The Police are not allowed in their homing area, in truth a no go area for the Police. I find this outrageous. These beings are on record for being anti social at times, incest, even murder, but the Police cannot see their files from the previous country they lived in. The article on this story i have placed lower down on this page. Click here for full story, on the pag…

I was in the Science Museum today, when we were told to leave by the nearest available exit. I was struck by several things. 1. How slow people were on the uptake. 2. I didn't know where the nearest available exit was. 3. People were calm about it. 4. The staff did a good job with the evacuation. 5. Some of the kids were in tears over their interrupted pleasure... there's a Wallace and Grommet exhibition which you have to pay for. 6. We were told that it was expected that we would be allowed back in, but I thought I'd go to the Natural History Museum instead. But I took a wrong turning and then thought, actually, I'd rather n…

This subject is already running in too many threads already. I am therefore moving it to the most appropriate one to avoid duplication. This thread is closed.

Come on I can't be the only fan on here! What a year 2009 could be with a new captain and new coach and the Ashes! Note the word could has to be used! Anybody else follow the county cricket games too? Of course the weather hasn't helped the first few games but good to see Bell score a big hundred and James Hildreth is 191 not out overnight, must be odds on for first double hundred of the season. What teams to people follow? I support Worcestershire and Somerset (they are my localish team, I live in Cornwall!)

Just watched a repeat of a documentary suggesting that Dr Crippen might not have murdered his wife in 1910. The investigator on the programme suggested that the police were put under pressure to come up with a result and due to this, some evidence was fabricated and other evidence not put to the jury. What I can't understand is why the IPCC haven't looked into this yet?

It's just been reported in the north that a body has been discovered in the river Ouse near to where chef Claudia Lawrence worked. She has no yet been identified, but the fact it's been disclosed is not a good sign.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7999960.stm I just worry how long it will be before the CPS charge her with assault, she hit him four times, I'm surprised they did say that was excessive. Good for her, lets hope she hurt him just a little bit.

The Hillsborough tragedy was a truly awful event. There can be nothing more than that to say. I was pissed off then, and I'm pissed off now, with hearing about 'justice for the 96', which means a witch hunt for the police officers involved. It is my belief that the police did rather cock things up that day, but that they could not have anticipated the consequences of what they were going to do, and had the responsibility for considering what else might possibly go wrong. If the people looking for 'justice' are serious then they might do worse than to look for the drunken assholes that spent too long in the pub before rampaging into the ground with tota…

The President of the United States has bought his daughter a dog. Why the hell is this being broadcast on the BRITISH Broadcasting Company news? Surely there are more important and relevant issues that should be broadcast? Have we become an enclave?
