Does anyone remember any of their favourite adverts on TV that they would like to share with everyone?! If possible add a link to a clip of the advert! I'll start...One of my favourites and one of the funniest in my opinion was the Tango advert with that fat orange guy going up to members of the public! haha...classic!

Been very very bored lately, waiting till June to re-apply to GMP. Fingers crossed. Anywho, in the mean time I've been keeping myself busy by making videos.... I know, not a very good use of my spare time, but oh well. I am attending courses, training and studying at home. But, check this petty attempt at a video out, it's OK, but nothing special. Oh, and have a gander at my youtube channel if you want, some other police related videos on there too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiglRNLq16c

Kyle Maynard’s MMA debut didn’t end in a win for him, but he set a new precedent for people with disabilities everywhere. You've got to admire him really... http://www.break.com/index/kyle-maynard-fi...ma-fighter.html

Nice to know that it isn't just our government that can alienate and upset the public without really trying. Low flight over New York.

I have discovered the delights of Ben & Jerry's 'Cookie Dough' ice cream. This is very bad for two reasons. 1. I am on a short diet. Ben & Jerry made me falter today . 2. It is very expensive. I may have to resort to raiding my sister's supply..... Then again, it would serve her right seeing as she was the one that got me hooked on it . It just tastes too good! . For those who haven't tried it, it is scrummy & don't go near it unless you are prepared for an expensive addiction..... Chocolate is a poor substitute for this. Just as well really!

Every copper on here is going to be at least £180 a year worse off. Now would be a good time to put on some Barry White. Don't, whatever you do, listen to The Smiths.

First of all, this is the last year I will be lambing. The costs are escalating due to this government (with a lot of help from the EU) and the losses I have to endure are crippling me. The straw that broke the camel's back is the news that we will have to have electronic identification from next year. I just cannot afford the equipment. I would not mind so much but experiments have proved the equipment to be unreliable and the methods do not work as well as the old tags. On top of this, we are not getting any younger and need to look to reducing physical work. Anyway, after lambing this year, I will be reducing my flock to about 6 to 10 ewes which will remain as grass…

BBC article Should the proceedings in Court be discussed in forums, or not? Is it the same as say, a reporter publishing the proceedings in open court in the local newspaper? Or should magistrates refrain from comment in view of the fact they will have privileged information in that they deliberated on the case, even if they do not disclose what went on when when they retired to discuss the case? Should court proceedings be more openly available to the general public, or should it remain largely unobserved except by those with an immediate interest in the case? Does twittering matter depending on which side of the bench you are seated?

The amusing MOT test thread has inspired me to come up with this simple thread where we can try and out do each other. I will start I have a 52 plate Suzuki Liana ( star in a sensibly priced car fame) which I bought new in February 2003 and still haveso I'll start the bidding at 6 years 2 months.
