I had a swine flu information booklet posted through my door this morning , it boldly states on the front page "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SWINE FLU" Open it up and you will see the governments lame information campaign underlining the obvious......Brown feels that despite 2000 years of civilisation the people of Britain still need to be reminded to use a fooking hanky !! It's thirty years ago today that the Tories were elected to power, installing Margaret Thatcher as prime minister. Like her or loathe her, her eleven years in office resulted in a sea-change in the political, economic & social landscape of this country - some of it for good & some of it for bad. Whatever anyone's politics, I think the present lapse to patronistic governance must come to an end if the economy & the country's standing & reputation is to be sustained. What do you all think?

May I suggest a new career for our much loved and esteamed Home Secretary, Miss Jacqui Smiff. A governorship in Gibraltar.... but no! That is far too important for our defence.... then... what a about the Falkland Islands.... so again, a big ..'Nay, Nay!'
