Isn't it ironic, in past history many many English men and women gave their lives whilst fighting a war against Germany. Now, there is a German woman at the head of the eurozone crisis, to whom,it would seem, Europe are sucking up to,and whom the rest of the world are watching to see how she handles things. Like I said, ironic.

Following on from Merlin's 'first 7" single' thread, I thought I'd go for the other end of the scale and ask what your most recently purchased album was? Mine (on vinyl) was "Wind & Wuthering" by Genesis (bought a mint copy in a small, but brilliant, local record shop) On CD, it's Rush's new album, "Clockwork Angels" - listening to it now, it's a thumping prog rock concept album - arrived in the post today!

Why is society getting worse? Now let me start of by saying that society (younger generation in particular) is getting worse on the WHOLE, I mean There are some kids (a lot) who are fine, like cadets etc... But generally most kids are acting more "Hard" or street and are desensitised from violence and have emotions to it - even the good kids. Anybody who rejects what I’m saying is a plain fool, my generation is worse than my elder, my brothers is worse than mine. And so on. Example time My uncle was sleeping in his car on a break, when randomly 2 teens, probably around 14, randomly kicked the side of his car As hard as possible and made a dent, for no reason/ He w…

...which TV cop/investigator would you have on your case? TV only, no films. It can be UK or US (or anywhere else for that matter). Personally, i'd go with Columbo or maybe Skippy Sorry if it's been done before, but I couldn't find it with search!

l Here we go again, the usual 'run of the mill' awards given to people who have done nothing exceptional, many top Civil Servants, who automatically get one for just doing their jobs. Time to kick the system into the 'long grass'. The biggest surprise is that the Milky Bar Kid, aka Winsor hasn't been given a Knighthood for destroying the modern police force, at least he deserved an OBE for lowering the morale to zero. Peter Fahy got a QPM for services to the Home Office, and Ms May, and for supporting Winsor, but not the lads and lasses. Ms Tessa Jowell given a Dameship for spending 9.2 billion pounds on the Olympics, after telling us it would only cost 2.9 billion, …

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9292516/Cabinet-minister-Baroness-Warsi-admits-breaking-cash-rules.html This member of HMG (thats what she is)was unelected and was one of Spiv Daves friends. These people do not forget, they hope to get away with it, you cannot tell me that she forgot she had all that money coming in. The woman should be sacked and the job given to an elected MP. This is the woman who conveniently went on a soi-called business trip to India, and then bogged off to a private wedding. We were told it was sheer coincidence that the wedding coincided with the business visit, yeah yeah, I'm sure we will all fall for that excuse.

Forgotten Voices Of The Hatfield Massive, the incredible story of the battle of Hatfield Town Centre, in the words of the scumbags that fought there. The front and back covers of this new must have book about Hatfield. Pretty much sums up everything I've been told about Hatfield in the late 90's.

Perhaps i'm irritable, or particularly susceptible for being annoyed by the annoying habits of others. At my place of work we have a variety of people of all ages, and recently had a new member of staff who, though perfectly pleasant, has a basic lack of manners. Occasionally these little habits get so annoying I have to go out of the office for 5 mins and have some peace and quiet. It's mostly chewing with their mouth open, slurping, and stirring a cup of tea for a good 5 mins (that clinky sound a spoon makes on a mug). So, does anyone else have similar experiences? It'll be comforting to know I'm not alone..

Not long to go now until 1 of the biggest Sporting tournaments is finally upon us!!! The favourite for me has to be Spain, they have got class all over even without David Villa the likes of Fernando Llorente,Xavi, iniesta to name just 3 are pure quality, they have got strength in depth, they have even got 3 top class keepers, while England have just about got 1. In terms of England, i see them finishing 2nd in their Group behind France, and if they do finish 2nd they will probarly get Spain, which i am afraid will only finish in 1 way, cant see England getting past Spain.. Your thoughts on Euro 2012!!
