For some reason, i am so tempted to place a bid on this. I don't really know why but i think it would be an interesting piece of history to have. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tv-Memorabilia-Bill-Sun-Hill-Police-Station-sign-/221218067651?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D7215531381342586019%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D3%26sd%3D281064695728%26 Would anyone else buy it?

Just some vids I hadn't seen before where the officers need to take a long hard look in the mirror about how they deal with people.

I’m Ruth Bradley-Holt, an Inspector on the North Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team (INPT). I have worked on the North Manchester Division, as an Inspector, for over 10 years now, with over half of this time within Neighbourhood Policing. I oversee the daily running of the ‘Development Team’ – which includes, for example, identifying any emerging crime series and the processing of intelligence. 1) Drug dealing is reportedly on the increase on the Waterloo Estate around Baycliffe Walk and the surrounding streets. Some residents are feeling intimidated by large groups of males loitering in the area. Along with our continuing patrols and drug operations we also need…

The Police Treatment Centres is a registered charity supported by voluntary donations from serving police officers primarily in the northern forces of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but also from British Transport Police, the Civil Nuclear Constabulary and the Ministry of Defence Police. Officers currently make a donation from their pay of £1.30 per week (1 September 2011). The charity provides two Treatment Centres where serving and retired police officers can receive rest, recuperation and treatment following an illness or injury with the aim of assisting their return to better health. Have you heard any rumours (fake or otherwise) lately?....... I'll start with these few....... David prefers Tunnocks Caramel to Pringles. PCC's will eventually become 'Mayors' in their own areas and take over the running of the police and fire services, much like the US. All this years' new SYP recruits are tee-total.

Just seeing the photo of the squad of redcaps brought back memories. I used to enjoy arresting what turned out to be a squady. I used to arrive back at the charge room, sorry, custody suite, and I had to call the red-caps in. Their Sgt. always asked me not to take any further action,as what HE had in store would not be forgotten in a hurry by the offender. On one occasion the arrested guy was on guard duty at the barracks nearby, I was told to keep the guy in for a while, and by the time he was released,he would be late for his guard duty, which apparently had a fate worse than death at that time. (poor chap).
