Hi I am hoping that some police officers here or people knowledgeable will be able to help with this matter. I was witness to and asked to take part in theft and fraud by an individual and so have all the evidence needed for the police to prosecute an individual for these crimes. I reported a serious crime involving theft and fraud over 101 due to pandemic. The police have refused to investigate claiming it's civil matter (and that I should ask the company from whom the property has been stolen to issue civil proceedings). Hi all we have had the audit YouTubers around the stations recently and we have been advised to arrest for aggregated trespass if they are on private property. My question is what code G necessities do we have if they provide details? unsure if the arrest would be lawful. thanks for all the advice

Hi all, Bit of an odd question but does anyone know what rank somebody has to be in order to have dismissal privileges over officers and staff? I suspect that it would at least be at SLT (senior leadership team) level but wondered if there was a specific rank in question? I know that there will be the likes of HR managers etc who can start the ball rolling but it would need to be either under consultation of either the SLT or COT. I only ask as a friend brought it up the other night (they have no involvement in the police) and it got me to wondering.

Bar the potential classist problem with the likes of Liberty jumping up and down - Given the inherent problem we have in the UK of people failing to surrender to lawful custody of the court why do we not take a more American approach and start utilising surety and securities more often in the UK? People charged with imprisonable offences having some kind of personal monetary backing other than just their word that they'll attend court and surrender to custody? Been reading a few articles lately about disorder increasing at football since return of fans in stadiums. Anecdotally as a big football fan who regularly attends home and away games this seems to be the case. Seems to be lot of quite minor things increasing like bottle throwing, pitch incursions and flares going off in grounds.
