Hi Everyone. I'm just wondering if it's possible to have some assistance from you? A while ago, I produced a short video ( ) which I know some of you found amusing (thanks for that by the way).Anyway, I am in the process of putting a new video together and need your help with "Rumours about the police that the public think are true but are not" For instance... A cop can't arrest you if he's not wearing his hat or all cops were bully victims at school..... You know the ones. So if possible, I hope the admin agree to let this post continue and that you guys can help in some way... Cheers Gary

Since the inception of PS.Com I have tried to maintain a list of gay officers who are happy to act as a point of contact for candidates worried about joining as a gay officer. The list I have is somewhat out of date, so I am asking if there are any serving gay officers who would be happy to act as a voice of assurance to those worried about applying as a gay person. Dont know if anyone else has heard this, but today in a training course we were advised that the Home Office is going to release a standardised notebook that will be used by Police Forces, Border Force and Immigration Enforcement. Just wondered if anyone else had heard anything about this?

Hi all, I recently am looking at the CNC or Civil Nuclear Constabulary with the aim of joining as its not as popular as the regulars but means i'd complete my two years probation as a AFO and have all my training in half the time (Hopefully!) So... i can't find anything on them other than their own website and wikipedia. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this force/constabulary and any advice people could offer as its obviously a different role to normal PC. Thanks!
