At the end of October, I renewed my wife's car tax and it no longer has to display a valid tax disc. The tax on my car expires at the end of April 2014 so, now that the new vehicle tax law is in place, what is the position if I now remove my current tax disc from display? The question is, must I continue to display the existing disc until that tax expires and I renew it for another year?

Ok ... So iv looked and looked and looked again ... But can't seem to find anywhere for new people to post and say hello ? I also can't seem to find a function to send a private message to admin etc to ask them ? Over the years iv been a member of various different forums and can usually navigate them quite well ..... Not this one it seems .... Any help / pointers great fully received ...

Can you pass a medical for the specials at Sussex after keyhole surgery? I had my Gallbladder removed 6 months ago and I'm now totally fit, I have no pain and feel better then ever, any advice?

Got attested yesterday and received my warrant card! Now, I don't like photos of me at the best of times, but this photo is particularly bad. Now I'm prepared to just put up with it, but a number of friends and family have since commented that the photo does not really match my likeness. I don't know if this is because I've lost some weight since beginning my training, or my hair is different now or what... But they have a point - the photo doesn't look much like me! Is this likely to be a problem? Should I ask if the photo can be retaken, or will the force tell me to sling my hook?

Hi, I was riding on my bike today and was pulled over by a police vehicle, he said he had stopped me for a routine inspection, while looking at my drivers licence he asked me to check my bike to see if anything was wrong with it I looked around and couldn't see anything, he then pointed out that my front L plate was missing, I said that I hadn't noticed and told him I had a spare in my motorcycle box. He then asked me to sit in the police car while he checked a few details after about 20 minutes of entering things on his handheld computer he said that I would receive 3 points on my licence and a £100 pound fine. Hi, I have a question about re applying, I alas failed my first application to be a special constable, because i have asthma. i didnt have enough time in the long process of sorting out medical info between me and the health advisor, to get a letter from the specialist i see which would have helped.I thought my gps knowelge would serfice. Never the less, I know you have to wait 6 months to re apply, but could i apply to the regulars in the mean time? Or do i have to wait 6 months to apply to all policing positions? Thanks
