Hello everyone, I wanted to ask you (especially those working in London) how often you see UK police officers whose first language is not english? I can imagine many foreigners have joined/will join the met police since they have set the london residency criteria and I was wondering what's the relationship between english officers and foreign officers. Have you ever met one whose english wasn't that good?

Hello, At the end of my training I will be posted to a station within a town centre which means there is no free parking immediately available. I have a feeling the answer is no, but can you claim back the cost of parking within a town centre car park or is this considered to be covered under the subsistence payment? Thanks

I have been looking on the Police Specials Forums on and off since I started my 23 weekend course back in November and have not seen any reference to the BTACS Specials Training Course in people's posts This has to be without a shadow of a doubt the best supplement to help passing your exams. Hi the idea of dedicated 'Rural Specials' or 'Parish Constables' has been implemented in a few forces, and is currently being mooted in several others. Are there any Rural Specials on this forum? If so, how do you find your role? Living 'out in the sticks' myself, I can only see this as being a very positive approach for a community that feels forgotten when it comes to police support (even if that is simply a feeling and not actual fact). Hello, just a quick question purely out of curiousity as I'm interested in this. What is the policy on regular IRV's pulling over motorists and is it true that if the car decides to run they're not allowed to give chase because they're either not trained or aren't driving suitable vehicles? (picture a MK5 Astra chasing a brand new BMW up the motorway for example.) Thank you!
