http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html There is one group who have not had a pay freeze, guess who, Members of Parliament, of course we don't expect MP's to set a good example and fore go a pay rise, that would be asking too much from them.

Brit' passport holders in Southern Africa can no longer submit passport renewals to their local high commission or embassy but have to send them to the British High Commission in South Africa. Not only do they now have to pay international courier fees but if you want to ask any questions about your application, you have to call an 0208 number (at the usual international call rates - usually significantly higher than those from UK and without access to any calling plans to minimise costs) and when it is answered you have to provide a credit card number so that you can be charged 69p a minute + VAT for any advice or answers you might get. Another little earner for U…

Help! We have had our black labrador retriever puppy for a month or so, he is amazing, very switched on (too bright for his own good) I have been able to walk him for 2 weeks, I know he can't be walked too far yet and was advised by the vet to take him for 10 minutes only, she said he would be knackered which wasn't the case at all so I upped it to 10 minutes out and 10 minutes back, which takes me an hour as my lovely little man, sits and lies down every few yards! To the point where I have to drag him to keep him moving on! I have tried treats which worked for a yard! Then he sat down again. He stops to watch people walk past then follows their progress! Whilst sat …

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/...edestrians.html Street signs warning Romanian drivers to be careful of drunken pedestrians lying on roads were erected by road safety chiefs worried about the "despairing" levels of accidents. Do we need these signs here? Maybe we need signs depicting a drunk driver, enough of those about.

Stand-in England captain Steven Gerrard praised the character of John Terry following boos that greeted the Chelsea defender in last night's friendly against Egypt. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...eat-leader.html After last nights brilliant display by the English football team, in which they won, thou one feels against better opposition they would not have, how far do you think England will go in world cup? My belief is, they will make it out of the group, then they will fall flat, in short, not quite the quarters.

Hello I would like to have the opinion of other people about a strange event that occured me recently and made me have serious suspects. One of the parks in my city have internal driveways and parking spaces. The last few months I have been giving to a member of my family a few driving lessons. As this person is still not confident of driving on busy roads we have used the park and generally at night time. The parking spaces of the car park are empty exept from one car which every time we went has always been there with someone inside. The first times we have just been driving through the park and it was fine. The last two times we have stopped and tried to do some man…

Paw Broone's 'Big Day'... chilcot... He will... (a) Bottle it.... ( Most likely, turn up with a prescripted list of questions and answers he might have to respond to, after being being kept up all night by his advisors to be briefed. So he will look a bit green round the gills. © Turn up and harrumph and waffle his way through, sweating copiously, trying to look like the 'Victim' in this, and looking like a sack of sh**e... (alleged). (d) Sail through without much stress as he has been 'well medicated' prior to his turn to be questioned. Option (d) is the most likely scenario..... Whatever happens, it will possibly be a 'non-even…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1256098/After-Tory-leader-reveals-list-ethnic-candidates-Camerons-Rainbow-1st-Eleven.html David Cameron is getting as PC as those that feel the need to go on Gay Parades. I sure most voters couldn't give a toss what sexual orientation their MP's are, as long as they do their job properly. Alll this political correctness is becoming a joke.
