All Facebook users are encouraged to change their profile images with images of their favorite childhood cartoons/animals. This campaign is to support the awareness of violence against children. Until Monday, December 6, there should be no human faces on facebook, but an invasion of memories. ...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1335780/Ed-Milibands-fury-Christmas-visit-troops-vetoed.html Just shows what trivial minds some MP's have, and what an inflated opinion they have of their own importance, when they get upset about what order they lay a wreath at the Cenataph. Grow up Ed and get a life. Why does Nasal want to go to Afghanistan, just for the publicity, or to cosy up to our troops.Maverick222010-12-05 10:45:40

http://247wallst.com/2010/12/04/car-salesmen-and-members-of-congress-at-bottom-of-trust-ratings/ Americans do not trust car salesmen, members of Congress, and lobbyists. That list not unusual. Nor is the list of the most trusted professions–nurses, military officers, and druggists. In your estimation, could the same figures be applied in this country? Of course Coach drivers are not mentioned, who would not trust a coach driver?

I always thought football was boring; now I know it's rotten (quote) http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/christina-patterson/christina-patterson-i-always-thought-football-was-boring-now-i-know-its-rotten-2147832.html Interesting -IMHO and the comments underneath, both for and against were also... especially this - "Cameron says Britain is passionate about football. Blimey, what a sad state of affairs. Not science, education, critical thinking, art, music, literature, but beer bellied bigots watching overpaid blokes kicking a ball, most of the team sit in the subs bench, and cheating at every opportunity." Well, it made me laugh anyway

Right, I have too much time on my hands and my mind wanders. So.... You build a snowman in your front garden from snow on the ground (like many people do), but it gets stolen. Is it still counted as theft?

So, had anyone had any issues with the snow in regards to driving? Myself, was down in the new forest all day and annoying a car coming the other way decided they didn't want to slow down or give room as they were in a nice big 4x4 and I'm in a little Italian hatch back. So, because of this I have to quickly break and swerve, resulting in me spinning out of control and landing my car in a ditch! Really annoyed me, thankfully a passerby decided to stop and go out of his way to tow me out and help me on my way. After this, my car was making weird noises and the steering wheel was shaking at motorway speeds (60MPH) which it had never done before. So, I take it easy driving…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-11907860 HMS Ark Royal sails into Portsmouth for the last time before being scrapped. It's not as if we were in conflict anywhere is it. I believe they are also scrapping the Harriers early before there is a replacement.... It makes me think that H4H are sadly going to need more contributions. I always though that HMG, whatever the party, was supposed to protect us

An interesting Questions & answers, from an employment practice partner. Snow and ice continue to disrupt commuters, shut schools and cause traffic chaos in many parts of the UK. So what are your rights if you can't get into work, or if you are an employer and your staff can't make it in? Richard Nicolle, partner in employment practice SNR Denton, looks at some of the issues. I couldn't get to work because of the snow. Can my boss dock my pay? With the extent and duration of the adverse weather conditions, this is becoming a highly controversial issue. Your employer's ability to dock your pay will depend on your specific circumstances. Those who are employees h…

Just a bit of fun! So if money were no object and forget about pain or any possible risk/side effects - what cosmetic surgery would you have done? This could be absolutely anything from nose jobs, calf implants to having your ears transformed into pixie ears (yes people do do it)!
