I was in work today and plotted up out of the way watching the traffic go by, looking for people using mobile whilst driving etc. A silver car goes past me and the lad driving is clearly on his phone. Off I set to stop him and have words. Im 3 cars behind him as we approach a set of traffic lights which were on red. It was my intention to let him get through the lights then pull him over. So im sat there and run the reg through PNC whilst im waiting for the lights to change. Im scribbling down the details from PNC on my pad and then look back at the road. Off to my right I notice a young lad jumping over a wall leading into a large local park, i then look at the ca…

This the first paragraph of this article: LOS ANGELES – Police Chief Charlie Beck pleaded for calm and vowed his department would conduct an exhaustive investigation into a bicycle officer's fatal shooting of a drunken day laborer with a knife. an infinitive phrase carrying a knife; wielding a knife; displaying a knife; would have been a better alternative.

SPEEDBOAT-owning cheat Deirdre Hynes pocketed £30,000 in housing benefit to help BUY a SECOND home. Wealthy Hynes, 51 - who has three firms and 23 bank accounts - began her bogus claims in 1996. Hynes, who has a property in Ireland, saved the cash and in 2006 added it to a £135,000 deposit on her £240,000 home in Croydon, South London. Croydon Council, who paid the benefits, discovered Hynes was making big cash deposits to banks, including one for more than £57,000. It was also found she had £320,000 in assets - the speedboat and shares. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3303355/2-homes-a-speedboatbrand-30000-benefits.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=News

We know some of us enjoy Starbucks, but this is beyond words................... Recently, British Royal Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees, and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should support them by NOT buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war m…
