The Locker Room

A humpback whale which was freed from almost certain death by three men off the coast of California repaid the favour to its rescuers with a breathtaking display of breaches and dives. The amazing hour-long performance was caught on camera moments after the creature was cut free from fishing nets. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz1SSIpzLy3 Very touching!!

Quite a long time ago, I came across to a funny 999 recording of a kid calling for help with his homework. Any one has the link? Better with the script. Thanks a lot.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/golf/14178214.stm It's hard to get emotional about golf, but after what this man has been through, seeing him sink that final putt brought a lump to my throat. Well done DC!!

Saw his performance on Sky News this morning. Whatever else, I was pleased to see him have a go at the Parliamentary Select Committee when they almost accused him of taking bungs! I wonder how many times someone has had-a-go at them in return for their arrogance?

I discovered yesterday that dan1991123 and I went to the same High School in Lancashire, although I think he left a couple of years after me. So it got me thinking about other occasions when we have had the same sort of experience. I remember on holiday in Menorca with my parents, must have been around 1980 and we are sat in this hilltop monastery restaurant having lunch ( ) and the only other people are another family at the next table. After some glances between the two Mums, it turns out they were in the same class at school together and hadn't seen each other since school until this particular day in the restaurant. Total coincidence or greater force? Who kn…

Drunkeness, debauchery and other stuff!

I have just seen a strange tribute left to a dead man. I have edited the report to remove any location detail. "Shocked family and friends have paid tribute to a young man found hanged. Former [school name] School pupil [name] was pronounced dead by paramedics just off [name] River Walk on Monday morning. Floral tributes, candles and cans of Stella have been laid in a secluded spot by the river where his body was discovered." What strange tributes have you seen?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-14097797 If I were a farmer or remote householder this would seriously hack me off. I would want a substanccial amount taken off my council tax, for my time (at a decent recompense perh hour) and the petrol.

After many years of watching the bill etc. I have always wanted to know how it works? What happens when pressed can control see location etc When can it be pressed? Thanks

Link It wasn't me :) Feel free to "Ask a question" :D

Quote from today's, the cheap 20 Pence daily newspaper 'I' Essential Daily Briefing from the Indepant......... Re: Mr Brown's bleats about New International scandal.... Page 4, Simon Carr... "Tories feel Mr Brown isn't always an entirely reliable witness. Their attempts to intervene therefore become more determined, and his (Brown) great booming voice denied them. (Tory's) "The madness was exhilarating. At one point, a friend swears he heard Brown say.."when office was thrust upon me!" Imagine the delusional background to such a remark. The madness was contagious. The Speaker (Mr Bercow) suddenly erupted, yelling at this member and that in the bawling, roiling Ho…
