One thing for certain, he will not be missed. Rhodesia at one time, when run by Smith, was the richest country in Africa, then Mugabe took over and ruined it with his pathetic views on how the country should be run. The UK loves to poke it's nose in where it shouldn't, i.e Palistine, Eire, Iraq, Afghanistan, but when it should poke, it doesn't.
