Hey all, I thought I would start a topic about the gym, fitness and associated routines for those of us who are into it. It also can link in with the proposed compulsary fitness tests if you want it to. The idea would be to share tips, discuss things and keep the chat going really all on this topic. Just want to see how popular this could be and what sorts of things you all do at the gym etc. I'll start! Over the years I've done loads of research, had a personal trainer for a time and am a member of a few body building forums in the UK and USA so i'd like to think i'm aware of the fake money making schemes that exist and what works for me. I am currently on a mixed ro…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2149452/Pretty-accounts-manager-left-woman-fighting-life-nightclub-glass-attack-walks-free-judge-describes-decent-young-woman.html No wonder people sometimes laugh at our Judges, how can she be described as a 'decent young woman', when she does a thing like this. She should have been sent down for at least 2 years, she looks a nasty piece of work in the snarling picture. She will be laughing her socks off with such a lenient sentence.

http://www.telegraph...grahi-dies.html Lets hope there is a public enquiry into the downing of Clipper 103. Very few people in the 'real world' believe that the real bomber was ever convicted, evidence was withheld from the courts that cast serious doubts on the case. Evidence points to the PLO, on behalf of Iran, bringing the aircraft down, in retaliation for the USA downing an Iranian Airbus. Tony Blairs 'sticky fingers' are again appearing, he signed a huge deal with Ghadafi for oil excploration, and things moved on at rapid pace soon after, very suspicious as Ghadafi wasn't known for his speed of handing over crooks, although he was often seen shaking hands with t…

You Might Be a Copper if... You have the bladder capacity of five people. You have ever restrained someone and it was not a sexual experience. You believe that 75% of people are a waste of space. Your idea of a good time is an armed robbery at shift change. You call for a name check on anyone who is remotely friendly to you. Discussing dismemberment over dinner seems perfectly normal to you. You find humour in other peoples stupidity. You have your weekends off planned for a year. You believe the government should require a permit to reproduce. You believe that unspeakable evils will befall you if anyone says " God its Quiet today". Your diet consists of food …

Last year, I sold a farmhouse I owned on Shetland and used as a summer "retreat" and I have been looking at buying another holiday place. My brother said he would be interested in pooling resources and we have seen a place we quite like in the North American town of Paamiut, GL, which used to be known as Frederikshåb. This is the house we have seen: http://ejendomskontoret.gl/koeb/sagsvisning/?mglid=1408&sagsnr=B1027PAA It is in a beautiful spot and you can see whales swimming in the bay from the front and a mountain range at the back - we thought we might be able to let it out for some of the year to recover the costs of buying and maintaining it. The trouble is…

I don't like the police, they tell people what to do, they're all bullies and they go around beating up people and tazering them. Not to mention shooting people too, for no reason! They all cover up for each other and they're all bent. It's no good you're not accountable to anyone and they should be put on trial for any fault. Any fault whatsoever. I don't like the security guards, they dress like the police, they tell people what to do, they're all bullies and they go around beating up people and if they had tazers they'd be tazering them. Not to mention shooting people too, for no reason! If they had guns, but they look like police so they might do. They all cove…

Ugh is all I can say really. It used to be a good drama which I would watch every time it was on. Now the new one is here and it seems that they have tried to make it american which sucks. rubbish theme tune and the cinematography is awful. Also that music they play ON the scene take away the whole 'bill' atmosphere. It all started when they sacked good old Reg

I was having dinner at the weekend with a retired Sgt.(of 12 years) and his wife, and he was telling me that as he was due shortly to get his state pension, the figure he was given was £10 per week less than that of his wife's. Does any one know whether or not that is the norm. or not. He has been told that it's got something to do with the fact that he has a police pension. He apparently has paid the full qualifying number of years that the state pension requires. I told him that personal situations can come into play here, just thought someone may be able to shed some light on it perhaps. Cheers.

Thank you all for your patience over the past couple of weeks with the unexpected forum down time we had. As we have said before, we will offer compensation to all the members who have paid to use this service. The forum was down for a total of 15 days so we have calculated refunds based on a daily forum cost to a user. This means standard power users will be refunded 49p (based on 15 days of a years subscription) and lifetime power users will be refunded 7p (based on 15 days of a 30 year subscription). As these individual amounts are quite small, we would like to ask each of you if we could instead group all the refunds together and give the money to the Blue Lamp Fo…
