In a decision that has come with no fanfare or publicity, Police Scotland have appeared to drop their bleep test pass rate to a flat 5.4 rather than the existing age and gender determined levels (at its highest, 9.2 for males 29 and under, and 7.3 for females 29 and under). Looking for some feedback from some Specials. I've just applied for specials due to the fact I have 3 young kids and can't commit to full time at this moment but hoping to in time. I have heard some things re specials but I don't personally know any. So looking for some advice etc

I am asking on behalf of a friend who is interested in joining one specific specialisation but says the possibility of rotation is putting him off. I personally haven't heard of such, but was hoping if someone could clarify for me? Thanks.

I was just needing to know if anyone has purchased the New recruit kit from the SPRA shop? How did you find the boots/shoes? Are they of good quality, comfortable etc? Would you recommend buying online or visiting the shop? I live in Aberdeen so I would prefer just to have it delivered

Hi guys, first post on the forum, but have found some really helpful information thus far. Was just a quick question in regards to the final interview at the end of the A/C. Firstly did people find it longer/shorter than the initial? Generally did it differ much from the initial? and finally is it a one to one rather than a panel interview again? Wanted to join the police for the last 3 years Been waiting a couple of years because I do have a bit of a history, have kept myself out of trouble for the last 3 years but as I say, I have a bit of history including one conviction.
