Hi all, I'm new. I'm currently studying Criminology which I love and I am also interested in police procedures but I have some questions on one particular area which is-search warrants. If anyone could be so kind as to answer all/any of my questions that would be great. 1. How easy is it for the police to obtain a search warrant? Are they often/ever refused one? 2. When they have a search warrant for a property, some or even all of the people there will be innocent of any crime yet they will still have their personal belongings searched-why do the police do this if a person is not suspected of a crime? Hi guys, I'm after some advice relating to an harrasment case. I was accused of it last year in March when unexpectedly i recieved a call from an officer in Leicester informing me an ex partner had reported it. The officer didn't give a PIN or any other warning for that matter, not that harrasment is the case at all. He insisted i had to go to Leicester and I'm from Derby. Hello All, My parents are currently having an issue with a couple of adult males who live in their local area in Leeds. This is a case that has a history so I'll have to explain. About 15 years ago my dad was walking his dogs in a local forest in Leeds when he was approached by two young lads (one early teens, one late teens) who accused him of attacking one of them about a week prior to that. Hi, So my son, who’s 19, has been practicing reversing and sometimes reaction time etc in an automatic car on a private road. The private road is about 125m long. However, he is unlicenced and uninsured. Is it okay for him to drive if on a private road? It is ungated.

I have a Macgregor 26m trailer sailer. In order to get the boat from home to my mooring I have a 600 mile round trip which normally involves a fair bit of night driving. The only lights required by law on the boat and trailer is a trailer-board at the back. Given the overall length of the unit is just under 15 meters this would seem minimal. The width of the unit is 2.45 meters at the widest point. I have been stupid. In order to joke with a friend I sent him a private Facebook message with a naked picture of a third party. I did this from a fake Facebook account and nobody knows it was me. As a DS sia badge holder for 8 years (security for 20) and now a CCTV holder, i have been kicking the idea about of making a CCTV van for events as a way to make myself more money. I have seen at lease 6 companies in the UK who have vans and hire them out for events, campsites and half a dozen other reasons and seems a niche to get into. Hi everybody, There seems to be a bit of confusion with relation to the legality of "spice", I was under the impression that "Spice" is a Synthetic Cannabinoid therefore is classed as a Class B Drug so it is illegal to possess under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Some of my colleagues have stated that it comes under the Psychoactive Substances Act, where it is illegal to deal but not to possess.There is also the issue of the definition of a Synthetic Cannabinoid. I think a lot of it is down to the definition, especially when people see that CBD Oil is legal due to not containing THC. Can someone please clarify this for me? Thank you
