I was arrested for slapping my husband whilst my children were at home. Will Social Services be contacted?

Not sure if this is the right category to post this but any help would be hugely appreciated. Me and my partner have just returned from a week away on holiday, while we were away we had a friend come in to feed our animals once a day. My partner rents a studio space in order to do her job which is teaching dance students, the students pay a fee each week which is put into an envolope and put in a safe place in the house. when we returned the studio had sent the invoice for the last term in the post, so my partner went to find the envolope in order to pay the studio the next day, to our suprise the envolope containing the money was not there. I was just checking the law on knife sales due to my most recent training being different than previous training. Previously, I had been told that it was illegal to sell any knives to people under 18. But now certain government websites say that knives with a folding blade under 3inches are exempt from this. I can find the legislation on the sale of knives, but can't find any exemptions for folding knives. Can someone point me to where this is defined?

We have had 2 visits from the police in the last week, one was quite an unpleasant experience made worst because they wont give us any clear answers as to what its about or when it occured. The police on the 1st visit said that someone has reported us for violent arguments coming from our house. A husband locks his wife out of their home and she cant get in. (maybe from a domestic argument or maybe he found out she was having an affair or maybe she did something that has ruined their marriage and he is emotionally upset and angry). If she calls the police, will they do anything to help her back into her home ? will the husband be cautioned for locking her out ? are the rules different if it happens during the day or late at night ? Hey guys could really do with some help. I was pulled over today by the police and told him I was driving to work and had been doing so since Monday. Usually I don't drive to work as I take the train but as I was only coming in for three days it worked out cheaper to drive. He ran my name on his phone and it showed I didn't have commuting insurance. The insurance company said I was allowed to drive home after he pulled me over so my car didn't get impounded. Hi all. First post here so be kind. I got pulled over today and told I was being issued with a fixed penalty notice for mounting a pavement while driving. It was at a left turn before some traffic lights, a van had pulled up short at the junction and to get past him to turn left I mounted the curb slightly. At that point the corner of the junction is a grass verge. There is a pavement parallel to and offset away from the main road with a about 2 foot of grass verge between it and the road. I confess my left tyre mounted the grass verge, but my car never crossed the pavement or even got close, but the officer involved insisted I mounted a pavement. I re…

What can I do if neighbors are smoking drugs in the building? We can't open our balcony door (and it's roasting) in our apartment because it stinks that bad and I don't want my baby being affected. i know who's smoking it but someone else in a different apartment is doing now. If I don't know which apartment it is can I still report them?
