So i want some quickcuffs, but obviously they come with a key and ive been arrested many times, albeit most have resulted in compensation for unlawful arrest. firstly is there an offence of escaping unlawful arrest (out of curiosity) and mainly, is owning quickcuffs or a key any kind of offence?

Hi I drive a new car that has halogen lights, 12v 55w H7 bulbs high and low beam. I am looking to upgrade the cars lighting. As I understand it, 100w halogen bulbs, LED bulbs and HID kits are all illegal, in some way. That leaves me with 12 volt 55 watt 'E' approved Halogen bulbs fitted inside a pair of 6 or 7 inch spot lights. The only problem is how to mount them, I have seen this small bull bar style front bumper fitting that fits under the front number plate. Would look like this on the car Would the spot light mount be legal on UK roads? Thanks In Advance, Mark

Hi, In need of advice and a little rant. I was arrested in June 2017 and all my computer equipment was seized including my phone, cameras, spare hard drives, memory sticks and some old pc boxes without HDD’s. This week I received a letter( from my solicitor) telling me that No Further Action is to be taken in my case. Hello, I am studying for an exam and have a question about the supply/selling of fake Drugs. Is it an offence to sell or supply a substance as a drug but the substance is not actually a drug at all? For example: A person is in possession of sugar, and knows that it is sugar - but bags it up as if it were cocaine, and sells it/supplies it to people telling them it is cocaine. What is the law around this? Thanks

So I was put under investigation for a crime in November, put under bail, then three weeks later was told I wouldn't be on bail any more. Throughout this I chose to not have legal aid as I figured honesty is the best policy and asking for a solicitor would probably not look very honest. I just wanted to get whatever was going to happen over with ASAP I suffer from severe social anxiety, I barely go outside unless it's to work or to shop, and I can't bring myself to call the officer in charge of the case (Sounds pathetic, I know, but I just can't). I have a friend who until recently was renting a room in a property in London. There were several other people also renting rooms in the same house. She has since moved out but has been contacted by the police as one of the other residents was apparently stealing from local shops. She is Romanian, as is the man the police are looking for. Good morning, I’m after some advice. In December 2017 I received a letter from my insurance company stating my car had been involved in an incident (Dent & Run) which I have no recollection of. Hi, Some weeks ago I was assaulted by my domestic partner who after hitting me several times pushed me backwards onto the floor, I threatened to call the police but did not. On new years eve we had an argument about this and she admitted she was angry with me and had not forgiven me for threatening to call the police, she also claimed that I didn't fall but actually faked it. Just trying to sort out a bad situation and looking for any info or advice. I got arrested a few months ago and got charged with assault and criminal damage.
