Hi, I am new, I have been using another similar forum for the last 2 weeks or so, however for various reasons I did not like it, the ambience of the place was not very friendly, This forum appears to be a lot busier, more vibrant discussions, less gimmicks which I prefer. Anyhow I work as a security guard at a supermarket, however have always been interested in the police and their work, and hope to give my opinions on various subjects.

Good evening, I'm a Lancs applicant (specials); possibly a bit on the grey side for an applicant, but I have been assured that age isn't an issue. I've been told that I have passed paper sift and now waiting on a date for A/C. I look forward to some banter with like-minded applicants.

I'm from Northern Ireland, found these forums when researching jobs in UK policing. My Dad is in the PSNI, and because of this I have grew up always having some degree of interest in UK law enforcement. I am currently in lower sixth studying Maths, ICT and Music, and will probably go on to do something in computing at University, however, I think I would like to do police or military as a job. Not really much else to say other than I would make good use of these forums for finding out what I want to know about British Police and will enjoy discussing it with other people with an interest in law enforcement and of course serving/ex police officers.
