Yesterday i went along to a CAP meeting. First and main topic on the agenda was the usual prostitution problems. This problem has been going on long before i arrived round here, and will go on long after i have moved on. The Police can do their bit, and do so to the best of what resource `s they have. Every so often the Police turn up hand out ASBO`s to curb crawlers. Then we have this woman from the Hackney council, her approach to this problem is rather different. Handing out NHS drugs and needles is her way of getting rid of prostitutes. It does not work, what it does do is bring along more prostitutes for this freebie, her hour talking in these meeting normally waffl…

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8003081/Prison-officers-threaten-illegal-strike-against-public-sector-cuts.html It will be interesting to see what happens if this strike goes ahead. Will all those that go on strike be arrested and brought before the Court, or just the leaders of the Union. If it is against those that strike it couldn't work. Interesting times ahead.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8003396/Justice-Eady-replaced-as-Britains-top-libel-judge.html the bane of newspapers is gone. Reading between the lines it would appear that his Boss has had enough of his ''one man campaign'' against all newspapers. We need a more open society, not a secretive society.

This chap has decided to commemorate 9/11 by having a bonfire of The Holy Qu'ran outside his chuch in Florida. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/sep/08/hillary-clinton-plan-to-burn-quran-disrespectful Apparently this is a measured gesture. "Instead of us backing down, maybe it's time to stand up. Maybe it's time to send a message to radical Islam that we will not tolerate their behaviour," , he is quoted as saying. Yes, burning their holy book will teach them a lesson. It's up there with the bit at the end of The Life of Brian when he's up on the cross expecting rescue and the Judean People Suicide squad run up, plunge daggers into thems…

This was written by Paul Wa**** a British fireman - What he says makes a lot of sense! I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn my monthly pay, I work on a fire station for the Fire and Rescue Service, I am required to pass a urine test for drugs and alcohol at my three yearly medical, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a benefits cheque because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand that I have no p…

A couple who subjected two young boys to appalling abuse have each been locked up for two years. Kristina Davies, 19, and Ricky Winter, 23, inflicted terrible injuries on the youngsters, both aged under four, including fractured bones, bruises and bites to their private parts. Winter will serve his sentence in an adult prison while Davies will spend two years in a youth institute. One expert witness, a paediatrician, said the case was the worst he encountered in 30 years. Davies and Winter, both of Canterbury Road, Margate, would force the boys to stand in a corner with their hands on their heads for long periods of time and screamed in their faces on numer…
