http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-13713798 A worried member of the public has forced Leicester City Council to admit it is unprepared for a zombie invasion. The authority received a Freedom of Information request which said provisions to deal with an attack, often seen in horror films, were poor. The "concerned citizen" said the possibility of such an event was one that councils should be aware of. to be fair on the guy, it could be something that needs looking into, as we need proper guidelines to help deal with this scenario. personally, gimme a lot of weapons, lock me in a food store and i'll be ok for a while. :shhh:

I know how much times facebook would piss you people off and also the ridiculous calls you get from people about facebook, but let me explain my issue. I do not use facebook cause I have no interest in social networking sites and I have a online kind of privacy problem I like to always remain anonymous. Now the problem is that my mate informed me about my account I was like, "I don't have an account" so he said there is an account with your image on it, from here I got very angry, the image is of me when I was in school so some arse has took the image and made an account, I have reported it to facebook twice and no action has been taken, now I do not know weather I shoul…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2002275/Theresa-May-ambushed-head-English-Defence-League.html Poor Ms May, ambushed by the leader of the EDL. Doesn't sound as if her security people did their job letting him in to the meeting. I bet she felt uncomfortable for a short while.

Cinemagoer’s rant turned into humiliating advert A woman, who left an angry voicemail for a cinema in Texas because they kicked her out for texting, has found her message being used in a Public Service Announcement (PSA) before all of the theatre's R-rated movies. The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin has a strict policy on talking and texting, and it seems that this particular customer has pushed the cinema's founder/CEO Tim League over the edge. In a blog post on the cinema's website he wrote: "I've nearly come to blows more than a few times over the years with rude customers over the same issue. "When we adopted our strict no talking policy back in 1997 we knew we were…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13692558 The head of China's General Staff of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) has confirmed that China's first aircraft carrier is under construction. Gen Chen Bingde refused to say when the carrier - a remodelled Soviet-era vessel, the Varyag - would be ready. A member of his staff said the carrier would pose no threat to other nations. The 300m (990ft) carrier, which is being built in the north-east port of Dalian, has been one of China's worst-kept secrets, analysts say. Gen Chen made his comments to the Chinese-language Hong Kong Commercial Daily newspaper. The PLA - the largest army in the world - is hugely sec…

The Arizona Department of Safety Officer pulled over pick-up truck owner Mike Murray for a weapons check because of an NRA bumper sticker. When the officer approached the vehicle, the man behind the wheel handed the officer his driver's licence, insurance card and concealed carry permit. The officer took all the documents, looked them over and said, "Mr. Murray, I see you have a CCP. Do you have any weapons with you?" The driver replied, "Yes I do. I have a 357 handgun in a hip holster, a .45 in the glove box and a .22 derringer in my boot." The officer looked at Mike and asked, "Anything else?" "Yes. I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and an AR-15 in the trunk." Th…
