A little bit David Ike-ish, but still worth a look. And it still amazes me that stuff like the NDAA was passed and nobody gave a hoot? To be able to hold any US citizen without trial based on an arbitrary presumption of being a "terrorist", indefinitely as long as the hostilities continue... which is why we're at constant war.

Situation goes from 0 to 100 in seconds. Looks as if the Officer was dealing with a 'hit and run' driver, when he asks the driver to step out of the car shots are fired by the suspect and the officer returns fire wounding the suspect - the officer was very lucky.

Very Patient Cop Dealing with Drunk (US)

Officer shows an incredible amount of restraint during this video, I have to admit the bloke likely would have been coming in for D&D long before the Sergeant made the decision to arrest him if this was my encounter... Just goes to show the age old saying is true "You cant reason with a drunk."

This video is doing it's rounds on Social Media, long story short a UC Berkeley University Officer confronts an unlicenced illegal food vendor and ends up confiscating the blokes money from the wallet. I've dealt with similar incidents, not through vendors but buskers and the like - from a purely British perspective no way would it be deemed acceptable to 'confiscate' or 'seize' a buskers/beggars earnings. One thing I will say which alot of people seem to be missing is that unlicenced vendors selling food there is a potential health risk there, I don't know what kind of training/qualifications are needed to serve food in the US but if someone got sick from a bad hotd…

Watch from the beginning to 5.36. They seem to have the same problem as the UK police with people filming and trying to obstruct them. The arrest doesn't look too good.

Very patient and professional US cops, but it goes to show that taser is not infallible. Many US cops would have taken lethal force straight away, and to be honest these cops could have right after the first taser failed, as they were left with no option really. Would beanbag shotguns be appropriate in a situation like this? Here's more info about the incident from the video's description:

Looks like he's spraying people trying to stop snatch squads of plain clothed officers dragging people away. Like the other video I posted, not the best position to put yourself in especially with no public order gear. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Disturbing video. Note it was neighbours who called for assistance as the officer couldn't reach his radio.
