Watch from the beginning to 5.36. They seem to have the same problem as the UK police with people filming and trying to obstruct them. The arrest doesn't look too good.

The police everywhere have the same issues to contend with. I know we like to think we're unique and special snowflakes here in the UK but we're not all that different to a lot of other countries.

From my armchair, I'd say that was very sloppy OST being used there. Tickling him with a baton... However, on the flip side, he might be so off his rocker on substances that they were doing good strikes but his lack of reaction just made it look weak.

It shouldn't have even got that far.

Just shows how important ground fighting is to policing. He should never have been able to get back to his feet in the first place.

That's a bit of a fallacy.

You can do all sorts of different techniques with chain link cuffs including takedowns.

Another example of the less than usefulness of the baton unless used with such force it will lethal if it connects with the wrong part of the body. Straight batons are too crude to be that effective unless used with force that incapacitates, for example if hitting the upper leg, it breaks bones . PAVA is far more effective, and a better option would be the taser. Time for all cops to carry the taser.

The hollow telescopic batons are absolutely rubbish for the most part. Mine has been used to break a few car windows, but that's all I trust it for.
