Staffordshire Police

Hello, I have got an interview for the role of Special Constable with Staffordshire police towards the end of September. On my confirmation e-mail there is very little information as to what's involved apart from writing a statement based on a clip I will see, followed by an interview. There was also a sheet attached explaining the values and competencies. Can anyone suggest a good starting point to begin to work towards the interview? Thanks in advance.

I have got my Final Interview coming up and I'm not looking forward to it. I've heard different things about it. Are the questions competency based, about what I know about the force, how would I deal with a scenario, etc? The email was very basic. My head is mashed as I've been going through possible competency questions and reading anything, and everything, etc.

HI guys, I am a new member to the group and looking for some advice. I recently applied for an Intelligence Officer police staff post with Staffordshire Police. I was successful during the assessment process and was given a conditional offer subject to satisfactory references, medical and vetting clearance. I have been informed this week that I have not been granted vetting clearance. I have been given very limited information aside from the vetting failure is nothing to do with me but due to 3rd party associations but they are unable to disclose what/who it is due to data protection. Clearly I am absolutely gutted with this news and it makes me so incredibly up…

HI Ladies and Gents I'm Ash, Next week I have the assessment centre for Staffordshire Police. I'm feeling pretty confident. But I think when I get there i'll be rather intimidated. The job I'm in now requires a lot of mental robustness which I think will help. A couple of questions: How many people can be expected to be there? and What to wear? Many thanks.

Hi, I have recently applied to be a PC with Staffordshire and wondered if anybody had heard back yet? They say the assessment centres are in September. Leaving it a bit late notice to inform people, I haven't heard anything yet. Anybody applied?

Anyone have an tips or advice in regards to the final interview for Staffordshire? Would you say the SEARCH assessment is the hardest part? been told several things about the final interview, some forces require a presentation etc. some don't, some just want to get yo know you etc. any help is appreciated
