Hi all , finally recieved a call last weeek from HR and after a very tense wait my vetting is all cleared and training starts August 17th :new_yummy: Anyone on here attending the intake ? im also aware there's a course starting at the end of july.

Hi all Im just wondering if the fitness test is taken during training ? Im more then confident about my fitness levels but have always wondered why there isnt a fitness test during the recruitment process for Staffs ? Surely its a risk putting a recruit all the way through the recruitment process to then find out they dont meet the required standard of fitness during training :new_hmmm: Many Thanks

Collect my kit next week and then start my training on the 27th April. Is there anyone else starting their specials training on this date? I also had a tour of the station a couple of weeks ago which I thouroughly enjoyed...I will be in my home town of Rugeley, which was a surprise but a pleasant one. Can't wait to start now

Got the nod, going to be getting our personal issue PDAs soon at station I'm not massively great with street names, so the SatNav will be ace and not having to update over the radio will be a bonus too...as long as we are in a signal area :new_doh2: How are we IPS feeling about our new tools and are we getting to grips with them ok? As I know some areas have had them dished out already.

Sooo anyone lurking around on here that sat the assessment centre last month ? Shocked as they had assessments throughout the week , but havent heard from anyone on how they got on :new_hmmm: Would be nice to hear from people in the same boat as me :new_thanks:

Anyone more In the know than me know when we are getting issued our combats? Should of been march but obv not.
