  1. So it appears they have changed the kit/uniform of Merseyside PCSOs by way of the black jacket, change to the hat badge and now handcuffs. This video shows a Merseyside PCSO outside Southport Police station - I'm kind of surprised that they've made this jump:
  2. https://news.sky.com/story/merseyside-police-accused-of-victim-blaming-on-social-media-11477078 Just reading this online, I thought it sums up pretty much everything that is wrong with things at the moment. The council and police have tried to raise some awareness of quite a big issue as anyone who works big cities or busy NTE environments will know. What I want to know is WHO in their right mind has complained?! And even then, why are the council and force so spineless and soft that they have apologised and removed the tweets. Are the people that are complaining abo
  3. http://news.sky.com/story/bad-spelling-gives-away-dyslexic-police-officers-dirty-tricks-campaign-10965495 Absolutely bizarre from the officer, lost for words really. Clearly became obsessed with this individual and has paid the price. So needless
  4. Tatherton

    Uniform

Haven't seen Merseyside Police wear these type of combat trousers. Does anyone know why they are wearing them and what type they are ?
  5. Man dies following collision with scrambler-style motorbike in Kirkby http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/man-dies-following-collision-scrambler-12350979 What more is going to need to happen before changes are made?

  9. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/merseyside-police-force-not-lose-10618711 Things are finally looking up.. for the time being!
  10. I will try to update this thread with the status of special constable recruitment within merseyside. Merseyside are currently recruiting special constables. If you wish to become a special constable, please try to attend one of the following events for more information Special constabulary recruitment open evening - 28th July 2016 Special constabulary recruitment open evening - 30th August 2016 PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED YOUR APPOINTMENT VIA THE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM, YOU WILL NOT GAIN ENTRY TO THE EVENT. If you require any more information, feel free to
  11. Inspired by Mer Pol Officer Garreth Berry who also was behind the PC Neil Doyle memorial lapel badge. The ' 6554 Phillips ' memorial badge is being funded by Merseyside Police Federation and currently is in production. All proceeds will be going into the PC Phillips memorial fund. You can keep up to date on the below link when the badges arrive and how they can be purchased. https://www.facebook.com/keystonebadges
  12. 'Newlyn Bailiff Gets owned by a Merseyside Constable'. Nothing bad or outrageous in this video. The bailiffs call the police as they want the debtor arrested for whatever reason and the PC schools them (and their boss on the phone).
