Hello Folks, I was just wondering whether anybody could help me with this query. I've just started at KF as a DDO and I have nearly completed my course of Hep B vaccinations. I've kept the invoices and receipts etc, but I was wondering whether anybody knew what form I needed to fill out to get reimbursed? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Tone

So it seems there is Timber Court (Surrey) , Chigwell Hall, The Warren and Bushey What are these clubs like? Any Specials here used them? For those who don't know: These are Sport and Social clubs runby the Met for serving police officers , staff , family and friends etc

Quick question could be sounding stupid but I have heard various things Anyways , as part of Met are volunteers allowed to carry any sort of warrant cards or wear uniform whilst on duty in the station? Thanks

Im very intersted in becoming a Dog Handler with the Met Police. Is this the same i.e complete the MSC , complete probation then you can become or can you be a special constable dog handler ( haven't come across one before) Any suggestions would help Thanks

Does anyone know the new payscale for new recruits from April this year? I have been told PCSOs and MSCs who join full time will start on £22,000. Has that changed? People with CKP will they start on £22,000 as Windsor recommended people with police experiance or have a police qualification they start earning £22,000? Will the Met commissioner BHH keep the London Allowence of £4,400 for new recruits or will he abolish it for new recruits? I hope not because it means a loss of alot of money. It's a shame if new officers get only £2,200 of London weighting on top of the £22,000 or £19,000. From April this year the commissioner will have discretion over whether to pay new…

Hi All, I have just logged into the application portal to see I have passed my day 2! Getting very excited now! My referees have asked how long they can expect to wait until they are contacted? Can anyone provide any indication as to how long after a pass at day 2 is confirmed referees receive there bit? Many thanks.

Hi all, I just had a quick question about attestation and what we wear. As far as I've been told we wear the full tunic. But I forgot to ask do we need the custodian? and last question is footwear, do we wear our boots for example the magnums under the tunic or do we wear dress shoes? Thanks in advance.

Today the Met has started to recruit Community Assessors to assess Day 1. Have a look: http://www.metpolicecareers.co.uk/policestaff/vacancies.html £100 a day plus travel expenses paid seems to be a good days pay. It's only for a minimum of 25 days a year, I wonder what the maximum amount of days can a person do? For someone who wants to join the police this role would fit very well as you would know the ins and out of day 1 and have no problem passing if you do it. Just sayin' I believe (my opinion only) the Met will start to recruit PCs very soon. Keep an eye on the Met website or if police staff/special Met intranet.

I am considering changing my BOCU once i complete training to Havering....however i dont seem to be able to find much info on here about it.....is that because it isnt popular, no one really goes there or....? Any current (ish) info would be appreciated. I didnt chose it initially because i felt that it would be just dealing with drunk chavs on a friday/saturday night! Hi guys, I've been reading the forum for a fair bit of time (helped me loads!) but it's the first time I've actually posted, Just a quick question in regards to Level 1/2/3 Public Order, I'm currently training to be a MSC and I'm in my 9th week of training, however, I've already been assigned to a borough and I'm constantly getting updates by e-mail from the borough in regards to requests for MSC officers to work on specific operations or events. In these operations or events, they sometimes require someone to have Level 3 Public Training, I just wanted to know when I complete my MSC training which level am I (I'm guessing Level 1?) and how to I get to do Level 2/3/e…
