Hey, Today i received my training dates, What do they do in regards to travel to training? Do they reimburse me? Regards

I was wondering how the MSC travel entitlement is actually used. I think it mentions showing your warrant card in the induction material. How does that work, e.g. at a tube station, if there is no one around? Just curioius...

I have already chosen my 3 borough options which include Bexley RY and Greenwich RG, I'm due to start my training within the next few weeks. Which in your opinion is the better borough for a soon to be MSC like myself? And when do we usually get told which borough we have been put on?

So I rang up both HR and Vetting today and found out that I passed. According to Vetting I got Vetting clearance on 2nd Jan and according to HR , I passed Day 2 officially. However when I asked vetting about training they said I had to ring up the normal HR line. When I spoke to HR , the advisor said the next intake is March! Does anyone know if training might come up sooner than March or is March definitely the soonest I will get on a course? Any ideas on how to get squeezed onto a sooner training course (even if I get stuck on it at the last minute) will be much appreciated :D But aside from that... What can I expect now? Hi All, Who in May 2013 will apply internally for the role of PC? Does anyone know when the Met will recruit externally? Who has recently decided to take up the CKP course? It's official, you will need it if you want to be eligable to apply for PC in the Met. The only provider in London training people for this qualification has only 2 courses for CKP before May 2013 (next recruitment window to open) and they seem to be full. Although on their website it states course 2 has 2 spaces available but I'm sure that has already been taken.
