Hi guys, Ive had a look at the clubs website and am pleased to see that members of the MSC are automatic members. Im a sports science student and would be very interested in getting involved in some sporting clubs with the mps. Just wondering if anyone can give me a run down on the facilities and fuctions available as information on the website is a bit sparse. Thanks in advance

Evening all, Sorry if this has been asked before, but do MSC officers in FH get to work on football aid at any of the grounds in their borough and do they get to work on any other football aid? Any answers would be appreciated. Cheers SCXBVPC1

Weird for some reason, I was viewing my application from the "Your Application" page and I've recently passed Day 2 and currently I'm going through my vetting stages. However, on the "Your Application" it states that I'm on Stage 5 when it was on Stage 6; which is I think for Day 1. Towards the right hand side is then a bar saying "status" and my status is "On hold in relation to Day 2" - My question is why has it gone from Stage 6 to Stage 5? Anything to worry about or is it normal?

Hi all, not quite sure whether this has been asked before... but do Specials have to book in the suspect they have arrested? If so are you taught before hand the formal procedures as well as the details you have to give to the custody seargent?

Hey guys! Just wandering - my documentation officer sent me and my tutor an e-mail for an educational reference. In the e-mail itself it said "complete and send the attached documents to notgivingname@met.pnn.police.uk" - However, inside the actual document it said to send it to "notgivingnameagain@met.police.uk" - I was just wandering whether there are any differences between the host names and whether my documentation officer would have received the e-mail from my tutor as he sent it to the former one.

Hi all! Not quite new here as I've been reading a lot of advice from this forum but haven't really had the time to post. Hi All, In the Met, for a police staff, how long do they have to be in their role before they can apply for the regulars? I can't find the answer anywhere. If someone becomes a police staff, can they, for example, after 3 months in their role apply for the regulars if the Met recruits? Is it different if they apply externally than internally?

Hi All, Just out of curiousity, other than being mentioned on AWARE, MSC online and by the commissioner that CKP is going to become a requirement for all who have an intention to joining the Met, is it mentioned anywhere else? Hello something that's been bugging me for years now what do the gateway and low power buttons in our IRVs actually do?!

Just wondering how covered specials are when it comes to getting injured on the job and layed off work etc...

I have no doubt that this MUST have been answered somewhere on here, but I cannot for the life of me find it... for some reason or another. I'm *attempting* to fill in my expenses forms for Training at Hendon and have come to the conclusion that I require a blank 3205 form to complete (as the MSCOnline version isn't going to work as I wasn't booking on/off via that). Am I right in saying that I fill it in as follows: Etc etc... Whereby "My P/C" = my home postcode and "P9's P/C" being Hendon's postcode? Then what should I put for "Fare" if using my car to get there and back? Thanks Jordan
