So tomorrow I am going to Hendon to start my training as a special constable [18th of january] Firstly, I would like to ask if anyone else here is going ? Secondly, I would like to ask those who have already been through this process about their personal experience and what to expect on the hendon induction day. Thanks in advance, Ashley.

My assessment day is on this Tuesday and I am struggling to fill the referee form. My question is do Met accept international referee as I have only been in the country for three years. Please could somebody also confirm if they do Day1 and day2 assessment on the same day, well I received an email saying that ill be taking my day2 assessment on the same day.

Anyone know what the score is for going from being a substantive PC (who was once MSC) to being MSC again? Presumably you get your old MSC warrant number again -- and presumably don't have to go through training and IPS soroc etc.? Also, does anyone know if it is possible to go from substantive Met PC to being a Special in another force without having to jump through too many hoops (naturally, I would understand the need to get up to speed with local policies and procedures, but no need to go through the Theft Act again). Hey guys, Living in Gilmour section house Kennington at the moment and will be working in bromley. What's the best way for me to get to bromley? There's a Thameslink Rail service from Elephant and Castle which seems handy but does the Oyster card we receive work on this service? Any tips would be much appreciated!
