There is currently a team in our local amateur league that have caused no end of problems with other teams and to be honest, its getting a bit silly as the league seem unwilling to do anything about them. So far they have been involved in the following incidents: 1. Head butted an opposing player during the game. 2. Punched an opposing player in the face several times during the game. 3. Attacked an opposing teams fan. Is there anything that you could suggest legally that could be done as i know nothing about how these offences work in regards to football matches etc? any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

I think I know the answer here but it's been playing on my mind and need to at least put the question forward..... I have used Creatine in the past, Maximuscle Creatine Cee-Max, but have been off it since an injury. I am heading back to the weights next week and intended to start supplementing again but came across creatine on the 'drugs in sports' section on the force intranet. Can someone please put my mind at ease and tell me it's just on there for knowledge as oppose to it being illegal? Cheers guys.

Hey everyone I have a question regarding SIA licence holders, is it legal for front line operatives to use hand cuffs when making an arrest.???

My girlfriend is being charged under section 4 and has to go to court on Wednesday. This is the 1st time this has happened and she is scared what will happen. Can anyone please enlighten me what may happen if it is her 1st time that anything bad has happened and she is very scared. Regards Nathan

Hi I recently passed the main hog of the Surrey application, to my relief. We've recently been told that we have to go through a pre-employment course before we can start the main IPLDP training. It may only be Surrey who do this, but for our FIRST pre-employment course, we have to pass 2 tests. 60% on the legal definitions 76% on the highway code I've printed off about 100 pages of information in readiness of this and am feeling a bit shell-shocked. There's so much!! I'm surprised there aren't more horror posts to do with this.

Hi I am a member of St John Ambulance- and I have been doing some thinking recently about different scenarios that could occur. If I was to come across somebody who was in need of medical assistance and was being abusive and physically agressive towards me, what are my rights regarding restraining the person for my own safety? I have already thought along the lines of citizens arrest, but I'm not sure where that would get me! Thoughts please Matt

I have spent most of the day dealing with a couple of Mental Health individuals. I just wanted to see what other officers have experienced with such individuals and getting them to treatement and their 'support services' I have attened addresses were the person is clearly in need of a psychiatrist, only to have the person say 'im not leaving' then you have to decide if you can bring the person in to prevent BOP as 136 MHA doesnt work in dwellings which where most of these people live. I have taken many to hospital to have the Hospital say 'oh can you stay until the morning, our psychiatrist isnt on till 9' then when we explain that 136 only works to a place of saftey a…

Given that there are a million (well quite a few anyway) reasons for not actually giving naughty boys a ticket at a given time I wondered a little about the offence. Brief circumstances; motorbike rider knocks moped rider off his bike by striking him on the back of helmet rider makes off followed by independent witness witness reads out number plate from about 6 feet away while on phone to 999 r/o arrested but denies everything saying he didn't ride his bike that day Is he obliged to tell us who was?

hyperthetically: I had a car given to me and it was sat on my drive, it hadn't been used for 7 months and therefore had no MOT, no Tax and wasn't insured. I decided just to scrap it, so someone towed me accross town in another car to the scrap yard using a tow pole. Where is the law with that? obviously it couldnt be taxed due to no MOT, should i have insures the car even though it was being towed?
