Sorry couldn't think of a good subject title, Basically, can i supervise my girlfriend, who's a learner driver and insured on my car, to drive me to and from the pub so i can have a few drinks? Obviously im not going to get hammered because that's common sense - but if I have say 2 or 3 pints would that render me incapable of proper supervision in the eyes of the law? Thanks.

I recently had a accident in my vehicle, a moped went into the back of me, i have gone to speak and give a statement to a lovely officer, I was then asked to bring my MOT cert and insurance details to the receptionist within 6 days. I arrived at the police station on the 2nd day of the 6 days remaining, and produced my documents to the recptionist, my insurance cert had expired but stated it would be automaticaly be renewed. Can you let me know the law for a private house putting CCTV up to keep an eye on their cars parked outside their house? The CCTV will go beyond the boundary of their own front garden in order to see their car on the road. Is this legal? Thank you.

A so called friend of my mum stole a blank cheque out of my cheque book, forged my signature and managed to whip £800 out of my bank. Luckily the day it cleared I checked my account so managed to get all the money back. The bank knows about it and all things that side have been taken care of. I want to report him but don't know how to go about it because i've never needed to go to the police about anything before... so I suppose I was just wondering what happens from now, with regards to reporting him and what action I can take. Hello all, just a quick question. My missus was involved in a collision yesterday afternoon at a junction. She was trying to make a right turn onto a road, but there was a lot of vehicles parked on either side of the road. With the poor visablity edged out to get a better view and when she thought there was no cars around moved out into the road. A car hit her in her rear right hand side of the car (pretty much the back door). She recalls the car not breaking till late and was sure he was speeding. :) Just a question about what is the law if caught in my own car outside of house and had been drinking alcohol but no intention to drive at all for example getting something out of glove compartment this has not happened at all but just curious to know where the law stands as have heard few different opinions. If caught in possession of keys, asleep in backseats. Is it the discretion of the police officer at the time?

Hi all, I'm on leave at the moment and I've just been contacted to say that due to some administrative error I am now the OIC of a case where all I did was assist taking the arrested person to custody with the arresting officer! I've got a court warning to attend the day after I return from leave, and I've been told the suspect is going to plead guiltyto a public order offence, but will give reasons for doing so. There is a stated case to this, which begins with 'N' but I can't what it was called!

Hi, Hope this all makes sense - My son was out one night in his mates car (both had had a drink) unfortunately his mate lost control of the car and they had an accident, luckily both were ok, however they both walked away and left the car. They watched what happened next from behind a tree, which was that an amblance reported the car and the police arrived to tow the car away. The car was placed in a police pound, however, all the contents of the car were removed. Some of the contents in that car belonged to my son, namely his house key, shoes and a mobile phone.
