Could somebody please tell me the general rules for filling up petrol +minimum age and what act it belongs to. thanks

I have watched Cars, Cops and Bailiffs via the web and Mersyside Police caught a disqual Driver after a ground pusuit. The two passengers were also arrested. Maybe it's cause it's late but I can't think what offence they could be arrested for. Would it be aid and abet? Thanks!

In the common room today we were talking about some chap who fitted blue flashing lights to his car (making it look like an unmarked car), pulled over women travelling alone and raped them. This got us talking abot having to stop for unmarked cars, with me saying yes. So, do you have to stop for unmarked cars, particularly at night, or does not stopping constitue a failure to stop and all the crud that goes with it?

We hear everyday about hoodies/yobs/louts {insert your pet phrase} causing havoc and distress within the community and apparantly going unchecked. Generally we hear the option as "call the police" but in truth the police are "too busy", "too committed", "not interested" to attend and do anything to relieve the distress caused to the community. Hello everyone. I would be extremely grateful for any advice anyone may have on an issue I am currently facing. In Jan 2000 I received a caution for indecent exposure as a result of some drunken prank. I dont know who reported me. Now, nearly 8 years later, I am about to apply for a one evening a week lecturing position teaching kids aged 13 -18. Its a council funded position but I am being recomended by a couple of friends who are running the course. They have to do a background check on me and I want to know if this caution is going to come up. There was a large group of youths (up to 60 of them), ages ranging from 16 - 21 at about 2030 - 2130 gathering outside Asda Walmart - in a field beyond the car park - away from residential areas. Many had just come out of the local youth club, others had gathered to meet them. They were not drinking, nor swearing, nor behaving unreasonably. There were no people around who might be caused alarm. However, anyone would probably be caused alarm by the sheer number of them. No dispersal order in the area. When the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act came into being recently it obviously gave us a lot more ability to arrest for any offence providing we meet the necessity test. It's a great Act. However, I believe Section 17 PACE had some useful powers of entry repealed. Is this correct? I've been out of the loop for almost a year due to an injury and just want to get this sorted in my head before hitting the mean streets again. Thanks.

We've got a few wanted persons. There's no information forthcoming from the usual suspects of their whereabouts, and searches of friends/ family are coming up no gain. Is there anything in law to prevent showing photographs of wanted persons? I'm already aware that photographs taken under PACE can be used for any purpose of crime prevention / detection. Would showing the photographs in an attempt to get more people aware of them and that they're wanted be unlawful in any way? Has anyone had any experience using the new (to our force) direction to leave an area for 12/24 hours. I have found it to be great, getting rid of nasty drunk teens who just dont quite do enough for an arrest, disspersing potential gang fights and getting rid of that drunk person who just wont stop talking to you when you are outside a night club. has anyone had any problems, challenges to the legislation?

ok doubt i put this in the right place to be honest im looking for help but without ok i just came out of a relationship and gone straight into another but my ex boyfriend is texting me saying he gonna stab me cut me up and everything im really scared i also getting texts saying hes going to cut up my new boyfriend no one i know knows him and hasnt seen me with him and my ex knows his name and everything i got a feeling he got people watching me im really scared as he keeps ringing and saying it wont be long and that he will see me soon thing is i cant go to the police for reasons im not going to say what can i do? jenny

There were some incidents at outdoor events this summer of cars being driven directly at security staff. I wondered which driving offences are still illegal off road? I'm thinking in terms of drunk driving, careless driving, dangerous driving etc. What is illegal on a field? What is illegal on a bridleway and what is illegal on a private road? Also is there an offence of driving under the influence of drugs and if so what drugs does it cover? If there's any other offences that are relevant to people trying to run my collegues over then what are they?
