I'm 21 and am writing my dissertation on freedom and liberty, as part of this I was just wondering if there will be any information available to police officers about me, stored on computer, such as the police national records. For example, when I was a kid, around 16, I went to the houses of Parliament on a school trip. Being from York and a very outdoors type kid I forgot that I had a penknife in my pocket, upon realising this I immediately handed it over to an officer. He then proceeded to arrest me believing the knife to be dangerous, took me down to the Houses of Parliament basement, and took my name. Why don't horse riders have to clear up their horses cr@p! I live a in a rural area, if my dog ****s all over the path or road, I would understandably be expected to clear it up or face a fine. Why don't horses and their riders have to live by similar rules? OK, granted they would need a massive poop-a-scoopa, but thats what you get if you feed an animal a fibre diet! :) I also think they should have to have road tax on horses too, they give off harmful emissions too. Not sure which band of C02 they would fall into though. I might be struggling to get horses taxed, but the poo problem needs addresssing, right? :shock:

Just wondering I'm sure a lot of you have had people who will admit to something but not so much as actually admitting it legally. i.e YOU: A person was beaten up this morning SUSPECT: Dear oh dear, I heard about that, he did mouth off to a lot of people. Not wise is it. Someone might have taken it into their own hands. Just wondering what you do because these people are smart if nothing else, and know how much to say and what not to say.

I rember watching a show on BBC1 about 10 years ago about Blackpool breach and security guards carried speed cuffs didn't know guards coud carry cuffs as well they looked like police officers Is there laws about them looking like police?

if someone is being blackmailed verbally, how can it be proved ?

Not sure if this would be the right section for this but here it goes A friend of mine passed his driving text 16 months ago. He rang me yesterday to say he was caught "contravening red traffic light". This was from a fixed camera, he has tried to say he couldnt stop in time and he saw the camera flash and wasn't sure if it was him, now he knows it was! Please can any fellow officers clean this matter up for me so at least I can regain a peace of mind over this matter. Hello, I ordered an item which went missing in the post. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. The replacement arrived then the original arrived the next day! I contacted the company who sent someone to collect the item but when they arrived they said that I had to put the address on it and they would come back to collect it later. I put the address on the item and it is still here 7 months later. Can I dispose of the item now? They have had every opportunity to collect it. (The item does have a value)
